Girls: Do You Watch It?

Really loved this episode. Still kept it consistently dark, but had such a beautiful uplifting ending.

I have to admit I liked it also. Charlie always loved Marnie, but it was Marnie who pushed him away. The Adam storyline was expected (IMO) and it was written in a very sweet way.

For me, this episode saved the season. I was getting really tired of the downward spiral that all the characters were on. Very sweet ending. Adam may be really strange and Hannah may be incredibly self-absorbed, but in the end, they need each other. Just wonder where Jessa is???

I found Hannah’s spiral really sad and very real, particularly her avoidance behavior. I’m not sure that Adam isn’t a part of the avoidance though. I think without a doubt Marnie will break Charlie’s heart again. I hope they don’t take him into too dark of a place when it happens.

The actress who plays Jessa just had a baby. Why do I know this?? ugh

Is Jessa the hippie girl? I did enjoy the show this week. I wonder if the renewal of human support will help Hanna surge and finish her ebook? And I also wonder if some of her OCD in real life kicked in as she wrote or produced each episode?

And if I was 25 years younger, I would push Marnie aside to woo Charlie. She better not break his heart.

I know this is a three year old thread but I wonder if any of you are still watching Girls? I hadn’t seen it in a while and happened to have an episode from this season recorded somehow on my DVR. I think I set it by mistake. So, I decided to watch it and am thinking that I may catch up on what I’ve missed. It appears that my two favorite characters on the show, Jessa and Adam, are now a ‘thing’. The show still has the ability to make me cringe but the writing and acting are still topnotch.
