@rebounded I applied mid Oct, received about 2 hang tight emails (last one i recieved was in mid november), then didn’t hear anything until Dec 14 about an interview which is scheduled to be in early january as well. also happy holidays everyone!

I noticed my application was moved from the “applications” tab to the “past applications” one on the Google careers website. Does this mean I was rejected? I haven’t gotten a rejection email.

Edit: Wait nvm, I just realized what you guys meant. Mine is still in the “application” tab.

@infinitesweet Go onto the careers page. Click on “my applications” on the top right. When you get there, should be a tab that says “applications” or “past applications”. If there’s no tab and it just says applications on the top left, I think you’d be in the same boat as me. However, I’m not 100% sure if this is what they meant, so feel free to correct me if I’m misunderstanding it.
@Techie11 me too, I also had a referral. It also seems like people who were rejected and had referrals were notified pretty quickly after applying. I applied back at the end of September. Hopefully this means nothing?

The “past applications” tab is probably where applications that are over 60 to 90 days go. I think the Google policy is that an applicant can only apply to the same job every 60 to 90 days. After that time period, it probably gets put in the “past applications” tab.
I applied to the BOLD internship twice, once in early August and then waited the 60-90 days and applied again on the last day the BOLD application was opened. My application from August is in the past applications tab now.
My application is in the past application tab but I was still offered an interview (I interview next week).
I wouldn’t worry guys!
