Ugh it’s snowing here again. Nothing big, few inches, but good grief.

Once again, stay safe everyone. Half way through February! Almost there y’all! Then we can enjoy our five weeks of summer lol

That why I live in a condo.

Another snow storm tomorrow. I need to take a second job just to pay for plowing - get me out of here!!

See? We did get snow on the left coast!

Midwest, getting freezing rain followed by flurries. Seems cruel after the weatherman promised 50 degrees on Saturday. That has changed to more freezing rain. Ah, it seemed to good to be true.

I made it to Phoenix! I needed a break from all the snow!

Lucky ducky, thumper.
Enjoy!!

D texted from NYC today. Classes and work were not canceled and, by the way, I think I need to get some snow boots.

Mid-February and she decides she needs them? We both did some internet searching- nothing in her size at a price point we’re willing to spend. I reminded her that next year she needs to get them a little earlier in the season. 8-|

Here in Georgia we just got over our latest “big” (for us) snow and then last night around 10:30 there was an EARTHQUAKE (4.4) centered right around the Georgia/South Carolina border. Not enough to damage anything but definitely enough to feel the “earth move”. Reading Facebook/Twitter afterwards was pretty entertaining….

Several have said that frogs will be next…

+4 here, and they are promising >freezing temps soon, along with reports on the coming thaw and flooding problems. Ha! At least the sun is stronger, and warmer! I am looking forward to parking lots free of snow in parking spots (the piles can stay there forever).

I couldn’t toss the snow from my driveway anymore because the piles are over my head. Carried the snow, shovel by shovel, across the street to dump onto her side yard (yes, at her suggestion). More snow coming today. And of course, we should never have purchased a corner lot (double the sidewalks). I’m getting too old for this.

Now off to see if the plowers had room to move the snow at the church parking lot, or if we need to cancel due to lack of parking spaces. Not much room to pile snow there anymore, either.

This will end. This will end. This will end.

The question is, When?

Didnt feel it, did you, churchmusicmom?

thumper–didn’t run as far as you, but I am in south Jersey for the weekend where there’s no snow right now, and really enjoying the break. not looking forward to heading north Monday to deal with the walls of snow everywhere. barely able to get in and out of our driveway right now. No place left to put any more snow.

It is interesting to those of us in Maine to see a good bit of the country dealing with the snow that we get every year! This is a typical year for us. Of course, a lot of us have industrial-strength snow blowers, or just pay somebody to plow our driveways every time it snows more than 4 inches. Another plowable storm later today, whoo hoo!

We get snow pretty often here in NJ–this is not typical, but it’s not unprecedented either. It’s more a matter of where to put it for us, as we live in an inner suburban kind of neighborhood. Not a place you could snowplow a driveway.

Six weeks from now my cherry tree will be in bloom… Six weeks from now my cherry tree will be in bloom…

Repeat as needed.

Jym, I DID feel it! I was reading in bed and noticed that my dog, who is NOT ordinarily allowed on the bed, was looking at me very intensely. DH was in the living room reading. I went back to reading my book and noticed the bed shaking…at first I thought the dog had somehow jumped up there and I had not noticed (which would be a trick since she is a 50 pound dog), and was scratching or something. Then realized she was still looking intensely at me from her bed on the floor. I shouted to DH and he said YEAH, it’s an earthquake!!! Very interesting.

I went to college at McGill in Montréal. 20 inches of snow and -25 F. We never had a snow day.
