Spinning off from the movie thread.
OK I confess. I watched two episodes of The Brady Bunch yesterday.

Ancient Aliens and (almost) all the other alien/conspiracy shows on tv. I’ve seen them all. I regret nothing.
OMG my D2 watches Friends over and over. Do not understand why.
Ok, I guess I might have done that, ahem, cough, cough, with Star Trek?
Reality TV (even if it’s rigged): House Hunters; Restaurant Impossible; Man v. Food.
Sitcoms: Modern Family (it has been going downhill in the past few years and please, stop it with all the Emmy awards!).
Dramas: Madame Secretary (Elizabeth McCord, you’re no Alicia Florrick).
I confess to watching more than a few Lifetime Movie Network movies, even though many of them are based on books I would not find myself reading. A movie is 2 hours. H just laughs about it.
I LIVED for 16 & Pregnant. I mean, LIVED for.
I work with teens all day and there was something of a Shakespearean tragedy about watching the chickens of naivete come home to roost.
I can’t explain it, but I can’t look away from “Deadliest Catch”. Nothing different ever happens, every episode / season has a similar arc. I guess that defines a guilty pleasure.
Naked and Afraid. It’s not like anything else I watch, and it is more fun watching with my outdoor loving husband. I equate it to rubbernecking when a cop pulls someone over; I just can’t look away.
House Hunters – all reiterations, but probably my faves are HH Where Are They Now
I specifically do not have a tv because of House-Hunters. Simultaneously addictive and soul sucking. The only solution was to banish the tv altogether.
Goddammit now my fingers are itching for Amazon Prime. I. Will. Not. Pay. $12.99. To. Watch. House Hunters International. Into. Wee. Hours.
(Need some Top Chef to divert).
What episodes of the Brady Bunch were they? Without cheating, let’s see how many lines we can re-create!
Is your daughter single? ![]()
I love NCIS and NCIS LA.
Yep. It’s the same old formula week in and week out. The same antagonistic but caring relationships between characters every week. The same corny brotherly quips. Yep. I love it.
I have a crush on almost every character, man or woman, doesn’t matter. Yep. I admit it.
It’s comfortable for me.
And LL Cool Jay…yeah.
Toddlers and Tiaras. I look at it as performance art in the theater of the absurd.
South Park. They matched the vibe of my own hometown perfectly in that show.
Also the Munsters, haha.
Gossip Girl
It was episodes 2 and 3 of the 3-part Grand Canyon junket. It’s never my favorite when sitcoms go on vacation.
I don’t remember any lines, but the stereotypical Indian war dance was pretty classic.
Real Housewives of NY, OC, BH and NJ.
Nashville.
Last night I stayed up until 1am watching House Hunters Tiny Houses.
Bachelor / Bachelorette. I watch it with my 17-year-old daughter. I tell myself it’s a good bonding opportunity. I’ll have to see if I still watch it next year after she’s gone off to college!
