I am so into this guy at school but I don’t think he’ll go for me because I’m a sophomore. Any tips on how to be confident but not come on too strong? Any tips on how to be myself? Any experiences y’all have with this sort of thing?
My dear, one does not get a gentleman to like one as though he were a carnival prize. One conducts oneself with charm, good humor, and self-respect, thereby allowing the gentleman the pleasure of discovering one’s appeal. Should he fail to do so, it is not a signal to try harder, but rather an indication to direct one’s considerable charms toward a more receptive audience.
