<p>Integral of |V| is total DISTANCE traveled (hence, not displacement). So its not just the integral from 0 to 12. Since you have a negative area for 2 to 4 (cause shes walking back home) you have to split up your integrals.</p>

<p>so .2 + .2 + 1.4 is just from how they split up integrals</p>
