<p>I got a new PC a few weeks ago to replace my 10-year-old dinosaur. It is mostly awesome except I cannot get on CC any more. It lets me go to the parent cafe and I can see the list of threads, but whenever I try to open a specific thread, it makes IE stop working. It cancels and restarts the page, but it just keeps saying IE has stopped working and has to close. Any ideas why this is happening?</p>
<p>Have you tried getting to CC with a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome? Do you have difficulties with any other websites, or is it just CC?</p>
<p>Try this:</p>
<p>Load IE, click on tools>internet options> In the browsing history section, click on delete and delete every thing except password… close IE and restart…</p>

I can only read CC at work and I’ve been so busy this week that I’ve not had a chance. artloverplus, I will go home and try your suggestion. happymomof1, I have not had any problems with other websites, and I can get on CC, just not individual threads. I can read the list of threads but can’t open them to read or post. The computer is brand new and really is awesome, except for this one quirk. Thanks for your help. Oh, and I haven’t tried anything but IE. I wouldn’t know how to begin to use the others. Not very tech savvy. :(</p>
<p>I had a bunch of trouble with CC last night. Tried on several browsers and it will still not let me connect. Today it works fine. </p>
<p>I could get into the main page of CC, but it would give me the error when I tried to go to the forum.</p>
<p>Same problem here last night - I think they were having server problems.</p>
<p>Yesterday Harvard EA decisions were released and the cc server crashef about 20 min after. I wonder if Harvard hopefuls, me including, caused this; lots and lots of views and posts in a very short period of time… </p>
