High School Class of 2013

I found another awesome safety! I really like Pace University.

Lol Pace University.

They somehow got my number from the collegeboard or some other organization and now call me almost daily. It’s quite annoying.

^ lmaoo I get calls from Pace too (which is also my safety)!

In fact I get calls from colleges almost everyday which is really annoying so I just dont answer or change my voice and say im not available! Haha

It still shocks me a little that we’re off to college soon. I’ve literally been looking forwards to this for so long, and now that it’s finally here I’m just a little AHHHH.

On the one hand I’m extremely excited for college. But then after that… I don’t want to be a grown up :frowning: I’m pretty sure I’ll end up at either grad school or med school after college, so that won’t be the end of education, but both of those are a lot more like being an adult than undergrad.

It really is crazy. This next year is going to be strange, but very exciting.

I don’t get calls. I just get mail. Lots of mail.

And yeah, it’s crazy that at this time next year we’ll be dorm shopping and getting ready for college. I remember being a freshman thinking that this stuff was too far away. I remember going on a Yale tour freshman year and being the youngest there. Now I’m one of the oldest at college tours.

Hi… I just joined this but im class of 2013 for high school too and I want to be a lawyer and im kind of feeling like some of you. I am excited for college but im also like officially grown up… im 18 and im just like where did my chhilldhood go… :frowning: how can this be the senior year we’ve all been waiting for? How is it that thigh school is practically over for us now?

I placed an order for my free UChicago t-shirt weeks ago. I take it I ordered it when supplies were all gone :(

So bummed.

^When were they giving out t-shrits?!

Private school. But we can sell them back at the end of the year [except if they’re switching books or editions they give us ***** prices for them].

We get five minutes in between classes. Day students get lockers; boarders don’t.

Sounds rough. Your school is pretty though.

/stalker, I live in the next town over though.

Also, I don’t get calls, but I get mail and e-mails.

I get so much mail and e-mail, but never any calls. And I just hope this year goes by as fast as high school has been, i’d even be happy with faster

I’m just hoping that I could learn how to cook some stuff this year so I’m good for college  I might not be leaving though. We’ll see how things turn out

Ramen and cereal :stuck_out_tongue:
Anybody thinking about commuting?

yup. if I can’t go abroad then I’m staying home :)

Nope. I hate FL, so I’m not staying here. I’d love to live at home, if home wasn’t FL. If I wanted to commute I’d have to go to FAU or PBSC. Both are really bad.

I live in the suburbs of a big city and the university I wanna go to is only about 20 minutes away, so yeah, commuting is definitely an option to save $40,000 in the costs of room and board over 4 years.

Plus I love where I live, just moved here a year ago :)

@Rachel same. I’ld love to live at home to, but I just hate the location. NJ is so boring

I hate Long Island, NY. There is literatly nothing to do. I’m like 99% set on dorming… But just incase, I am touring three local schools in August if that percentage changes
