High School Class of 2014

Lol then we can go on the Parents Forum eventually.
Also I just saw that TheKongo was banned from CC how does that even happen?

If you aren’t a parent but are that age could you still post? Lol

Goals for college:

 1. Secure a job after 4 years.

Haha agreed! ^^^

^^ what about grad school?!

I’m going to rant far more than was really justified, but…
What about getting an education? If a job is all you want, go to trade school and secure a job after two years.
Of course, an education doesn’t have to be expensive or take place in a classroom. But if you’re going to go to college, I think you should care about learning for its own sake on some level. You don’t have to major in philosophy or anything…just don’t go in with that “everything is about my career!” mentality.

Everything is pretty much about my career, to be honest. You can’t be an engineer by going to trade school, and it’s a lot harder to get into business without a college degree. I mean I am interested in learning, but I can’t take too many classes just for fun if I want to graduate in 4 years.

Anyways I plan on having sex before college, but I plan on a lot of things that don’t happen. It won’t be the end of the world if I don’t. There will be plenty of opportunities for that in college.

I’d rather just learn for the sake of learning and choose a job based on my favorite subject.

College To-Do List:

 1. Get good grades
 2. Visit home (often) and high school (occasionally)
 3. Get to know professors
 4. Make friends/acquaintances
 5. Take walks, reflect on my life
 6. See if I fall in love (I haven’t had ANY romantic feelings yet); if not, enjoy being single
 7. Have good intentions, do good deeds
 8. Enjoy the last few years before I have to face the cold, cruel world known as adulthood
 9. Stay away from icky things like sex and drugs

I have 666 posts at the moment.

^ You beast.

Not anymore.

Lol. If you want an education, just go to your library/thepiratebay

Get a Will Hunting education

My college to do list is pretty much the same as everyone else’s. Good grades, parties, meet people, etc. I also want to be Sec-Gen of that school’s MUN program, lol.
Oh and I want an actual relationship. My parents won’t let me date or even become good friends with boys but at they same time they think I’m doing all that stuff. Ugh.

@amissy 14

Why pay $150,000 for an education that you can get for $1.50 in late fees right?

Also, get a huge rap sheet and represent yourself at every trial successfully. Hey-OH!

You guys must have better libraries than they have where I live. :frowning:
(And a college education could be free too, if everyone on here wasn’t so obsessed with schools where all the students are better than them.)

My college education will be free. My mom refuses to pay for my education and she won’t allow me to take out loans.

My education won’t be free, but it’ll be debt free if I end up going to Bama. That’s a big if though

Case Western is looking really good to me right now because I could live at home and I’d probably get a lot of aid on the tuition too. I just hope I don’t screw up the interview.

The movie was filmed in 1997 so today’s “library” is probably thepiratebay
