<p>@Evan: My name’s Mason. Feel free to address me by name! Lol. My drama teacher is brilliant, but he’s also a very strict grader. NOTHING is completion–you’re graded on the quality of your acting. How can you even quantify that? The inherent subjectivity of acting quality leads to some very arbitrary grading… Ugh. At least I got an A plus last quarter that I was not expecting.</p>
<p>I already posted my schedule in my first post on this thread; check it out! I’m taking AP World, and I’ve already bought a Princeton Review book to help me through the year. That’s weird that your school doesn’t offer it as a class…</p>
<p>@Mason–Ah, okay, found it. Wow, I must be dumb or something because I answered the questions at the end of that post. Anyhow, it is weird that we don’t have an AP World class, but the reason is that the would-be teacher of the class (my honors world history teacher/scholar’s bowl coach who is easily my favorite teacher) says that she doesn’t want her…what’s the word…skill, I guess, as a teacher based upon how her students perform on a national exam. But I’m perfectly fine with AP Euro. The AP Euro/APUSH teacher at our school has a 92% AP exam pass rate of his students, so I guess that and the fact that we have 7 social science APs (microecon, macroecon, psych, euro, us history, government, comparative politics) offered makes up for not having an AP World.</p>
