High School Class of 2014

I don’t think I can go on right now, but maybe we can get a group for later today?

Let’s aim for an evening time, like 5/6 PM CST.

Pretty sure that works for me :)

Hello everyone, I just joined  This seems like a pretty nice community so I’m gonna hope I don’t forget to check here.

Jereve, I saw your post on the first page about your schedule. What area of the country do you live in…? I go to an IB school too o:

@globalwolf I live outside of dc :)

Sorry guys, no tinychat for me tonight. Emmy Awards!

Dude, I’m gonna watch the Emmy’s and use tinychat at the same time. Take use of the advancements in portable technology!

@Jereve: Fairfax county by any chance?

@studious boo youu

Steve Carell got robbed. I’m done with award shows.

I love him… :3

Class of 2014! Yeahyuhhh! Haha
Sophomore Schedule.
(I’m doing online school and since its their first year in my district I don’t have any AP classes this year! ): So bummed because I was supposed to have AP Euro/World History!

Algebra 2 (they don’t have honors or AP) Easy!
Spanish 1 (retaking a semester to have an A) Easy!
Honors Literary Analysis and Compostion. Easy!
P.E 101.35% haha
Honors Chem (Don’t take until next semster because my school is in cohorts)
World History (again no honors or AP! Frusturating!)
Psych (one cohort)
Business/Finance (one cohort)

I also work with my church’s food ministry and bag food for about 30 families every week. Trying to see if I can volunteer in a new hospital that just opened up by my city.

Can someone PM me the link of tinychat? Loved to get in on it!
Also how do you do self learning as I see lots of people are doing AP classes their self.

I dont want to butt in, but who’s going to watch 2&1/2 men tonight? Ashton kutcher is starting…

If anyone deserved that award, Studious, it was Louis C.K.

@julieannap I’m not gonna be home while it’s own ); you should report back after you watch it though ahaha

@anaychi: While Louis is great, Steve Carell has given one masterful performance after another on The Office, especially in this past season (‘Goodbye Michael’ was amazing). Additionally, it was his last season, so an Emmy would be a just recognition of his continued excellence on the show. I was so upset when he didn’t win.

Schedule:

Honors Chemistry: This class is at medium-hard level of difficulty, but it is so easy to get behind in this class. I still haven’t memorized the periodic tables from last week. Unfortunately, this class is being overshadowed my AP’s.

AP Lang: Ahhh…one of my online classes. The teacher is nice, and she’s an great teacher. I see my writing improving already. Got a 94 on my 2nd paper! It’s kind of a weird schedule though…class starts on Thursdays, ends on Wednesdays. So there really isn’t a break in a week. We’re reading Beowulf, and so far the book is interesting and easy to understand. She does gives us a quite a bit of assignments, but I don’t get far behind, since writing/reading is one my strengths.

APUSH: The death of me. This class is also online. The teacher is good, but man-he gives a ton of work. I won’t even go into detail what he had scheduled for us this week, but it’s ridiculous. With this kind of work, I better get a 5 on the AP test :P. Someone pray for me, cross your fingers for me, ect… because I’m truly being worked in this class. One fun thing: We get to interview people for class credit.

Geometry: Ehh, we’re still doing the simple basic stuff you do in the beginning of the year, so I don’t have a lot to say about it. There’s a ton of supplemental CD’S though, so if you don’t understand, you can pop one in.

German 2: Well, I’m still trying to finish German 1. I’m supposed to be on lesson 20-ish or something, I’m on lesson 10. It’s pathetic, I know.

History of Old Testament: Class is easy; tests are hard.

EC’s: I had so much planned out, but I’m not doing too many. I’m only going to voice lessons once a week, and self-teaching myself the keyboard. I’m interested in doing musicals at the place I take my lessons at, but I got to learn how to act and dance, also. I desperately want to volunteer, but alas, life decides to screw up everything.

TIME MANAGEMENT: Someone, please help. Tips, advice, ideas, ect… As I work through the school day, it seems time keeps slipping through my fingers.

I got a 100 on a my first AP Bio test! Yess! There were only ten As in the class of 30.

I’m so stressed today. I have to make posters for my Class Presidency run, write an essay, study for two big tests, and arrange meetings for my Math Competition Club. It’s going to be a fun night…

Wow, this thread has been inactive for almost 24 hours. Does anyone have anything interesting to report from class? Successes? Failures?

I fail in life
