In french class, my head actually hurts from not learning. I started school Sept. 7 and I haven’t learned anything in french class since that day when I learned my teacher’s name.
Yes, I do get angry at A- or lower but that depends on the situation. In math, I find it a bit easier to forgive myself because sometimes I just did not understand the concept and our tests/quizzes are very difficult. In something like english though, maybe vocab, I would expect to get A+.

I found out that my class ranking is 8, so I’m ok about that.

I would be pretty upset if I got an A-. Especially in a math or science class.

I’m an extreme perfectionist, probably to an OCD level (when it comes to grades, at least). I’m very disappointed in myself for even small mistakes. Just the other day, I felt like I absolutely aced my math test, only to realize later that I forgot one transformation on the last question. It’s really a minor issue, and I’ll probably still get an A+, but I tend to dwell on things like that excessively. It’s not really about the grade, it’s that I don’t like to get things wrong. Even when I get 99s, I kick myself for the one mistake I made. Regardless, my perfectionist tendencies are probably the root of my academic success, so I’m glad I have them.

J’amie le francais! even though my french teacher this year is not the best. I mean she is a good person and teaches well but her accent… You know what I mean? I listen to audio at home to learn good pronunciation. My class might go to Europe when we are juniors.

My french teacher is a very crazy woman. We have been learning the same thing for the past 2 months… it seems as if she doesn’t have a lesson plan. But, she’s the only one my school has so i have to suck it up.

I’m currently in my 2nd year of studying Latin and I absolutely love it! It’s one of my favorite classes too. I want to continue studying it in college but I’m not quite sure yet. Would be really fun to do though.

Hi, I am currently taking:
Hon. English 10
APUSH
Honors Pre-Cal
Newspaper
Every Day Living(it’s a requirement health class in order to graduate)
Forensics (I do Informative and Extemp)
Honors Spanish 3
Physics (obviously my favorite class )
Extra Curriculars: Amnesty Club, Student Council, Forensics, Piano, and possibly Spring Tennis

I would like to get accepted into a straight med program. I have all A’s so far this year except for Spanish and Physics which are high B’s. Is there anything I can do to get ahead, especially extracurricular wise. (I didn’t include volunteering on here, but I do.)

Taking the PSAT on the 12th. Kinda worried, because I have to be pulled out for an MRI that day (my previously mentioned knee sprain relapsed. Doctors/parents worried it might be worse that what was originally thought).

Aww, you should reschedule your doctor’s appointment, or at least make it after school. You don’t want to be interrupted during the PSAT. And I’m taking it on the 12th too. Do any of you know which math subjects are covered? Up to Algebra 2, or Pre-Calc, or Calculus, or what? I just know I’m going to epically fail any and all math-related problems. D:

I don’t understand why you all are freaking out about the PSAT for sophomores. It counts for absolutely nothing, just shows where you are. And the PSAT covers algebra 2, geometry, and algebra 1.
