<p>I say no APs are awful because at my school if you aren’t in AP (meaning you opted to take honors instead of an AP class when it was available) you are stuck with the annoying kids that don’t care.</p>

^ That’s why I wanted to take as many honors, pre-AP and AP classes offered at my school haha. Sometimes the classes aren’t necessarily hard, but the classes are small and have awesome people so I feel like I’m part of a community.</p>
<p>And plus people smoke weed and do other drugs in the regular classes and so I’m paranoid about taking them. o-o</p>
<p>about 4-5 hours of homework per night I would say, but I ********ted a lot of it so it wasn’t as bad for me. Probably 3-4 hours</p>

<p>LOL, Its gonna be much worse Junior Year. I will be taking 4 AP classes so I am expecting 7 hours a night for homework.</p>
<p>I’m taking 4 AP classes next year too, but I’m thinking 4 hours tops a night (I’m taking the "easy APs) and in subjects I enjoy.</p>
<p>Yeah, I am self-studying all the easy APs and taking the Core APs in school.(Calc AB, Calc BC, Physics C Mech, Physics C EM, Chem, Bio, APUSH, Lang, Lit, and Spanish)</p>

<p>These are all the ones that I see are considered easy. Some people think economics is easy, but they don’t offer it at my school so I wouldn’t know. IT varies from school to school</p>

<p>I got my schedule today, and it is royally screwed up. So I thought I would come to CC to rant. I don’t care if you guys rate it or not.</p>

<p>First of all, where is my fifth period? I mean I’m perfectly fine with leaving an hour early, but really guys? I have neither an English, nor do I have Honors Trig. I obviously can’t take Chemistry 2 before I take Chemistry 1. Also, I wasn’t supposed to be able to get into APUSH as a sophomore so I don’t have my summer work. My counseling office is so screwed up. None of the counselors care about the kids, and you have to beg to even get them to tell you anything. I guess I’ll have to email the teacher about the APUSH work and see if the teacher and I can work something out. What do you guys think?</p>

<p>Call the school tomorrow and get things sorted out. Noting to be stressed about, it happens when they let computers do all the work. The sooner you call the school, the sooner things will be worked out. Really, it happens all the time. I got into AP calc BC and honors geometry at the same time according to my schedule last year lol</p>
<p>Well, our school is notorious for screwing up schedules, so we have specified schedule change dates. As a sophomore, this means I can’t get mine changed until the third day of school -_- Which I don’t know how the whole missing fifth period thing will work out until then, hahaha</p>
<p>Just finished 1000 splendid suns. Kind of depressed that that’s the honors reading, seeing as how I read Atlas Shrugged, Anna Karenina, and Les Miserables by myself this summer.
^^^I hope that doesn’t come off as snobby haha. So how do you guys find the honors English classes in hs? This is my first year back from homeschooling/ private schools in a while. I wanted to take AP, but it’s restricted to juniors and seniors.</p>
