<p>I’m so excited for school to start!</p>
<p>Ahh I meant august 27th lol</p>
<p>t-minus three and a half weeks for me! I’m nervous and excited for school. I want to make some teams, I want to do well in classes, and I want to have good friends. I’m always paranoid that I won’t have any friends, but each year I end up having tons tons and find a lot of new friends! 
</p>
<p>Also, my dream school… I really like the idea and feel of Dartmouth, but I feel like a Liberal Arts student, with a Technical Students brain. So my choices for dreams schools involve schools like Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and Princeton for school that have good engineering/computer degrees. </p>
<p>And, CT is a great place, I grew up there, in a small town outside of New Haven (Woodmont in Milford CT) and even though the place is kind of drab (like alot of places in New England) I really like the old feel of the place and alot of the little towns like Milford and Woodmont.</p>
<p>What class are you most excited for? I’m not really excited for the coursework itself, but this is the first year that honors/AP classes will be available to me, so I’m excited for that, as I’ll most likely know all or most of my classmates.</p>
<p>Hopefully I’ll get to take 2 APs (Bio and BC Calc) next year. But I still have scheduling problems and can’t contact the school until a week before we start. Well, hopefully it’ll go through, b/c I’m really psyched already and would die if I got bad news about this lol.</p>
<p>Almost 2 weeks for me! I’m taking 2 APs… but I’ll have to take a general Trig class because of scheduling conflicts… My counselor said AP Chemistry was more important that Honors vs. General Trig… yeah I’m gonna die because the people in general classes scare me. But I’m getting to take AP Chem and APUSH! No sophomore at my school has done this before! Probably because the counselors tell you that you cannot do it… but my counselor looked at my ACT Explore scores and told me I could, yeeeeeeee!</p>

I’m taking 5 College level courses and Chem and Alg2

<p>Ahhhh, nice! I loved freshman year so I’m getting depressed that it’s not going to be the same hahaha</p>
<p>Im pretty psyched for AP Physics and AP Calc along with Student Council (student council is a really hard class to get into), I dont know my schedule yet but I’m dying to see it… but I know I’ll probably have to have a talk with my counselor.</p>
<p>School starts August 20th for me. I have to read two books by then for AP World History: The Art of War and Heart of Darkness. No problem.</p>

<p>Wow you guys can take those APs as a sophomore? Wow. My school has strict rules, even if I meet the requirements. I managed to sneak 4 APs so I guess that makes up.
I’m excited for the APs though: Environmental science, Psychology, Statistics and Biology</p>
<p>Then the ECs of course: My own fundraiser walk (planned to raise about 15k), school musical lead, 1st chair, student council.
Its gonna be a great year</p>

<p>4 and a half weeks left, but only had a week and a half so far.
How do you guys manage to focus on school work if your doing stuff over the summer? I have a years worth of maths to cover and I can’t motivate myself. I just want a break!</p>
<p>I start September 4th, so I still have a month. I’m excited for APUSH and AP Euro. Besides AP Art History, those are the only APs offered to sophomores. I’m not really excited for chemistry. -.-</p>
<p>@AlexHarper Thanks! I’m not that excited for APUSH, history isn’t exactly my favorite, hahaha. But Chemistry is one of my favorite subjects, so I think it’ll be fun! Good luck to you, too!</p>
<p>My school starts on the 6th D:. I’m taking four APs (three at school, one online): AP Environmental Science, AP World History, AP Chemistry, and AP Computer Science!</p>
