<p>I go back on thursday, dreading it so much :(</p>
<p>I really thought I was ready, but I just realized that I’m still tired from last school year. XD</p>
<p>I’ve only been in school for 3 weeks, and I’m already staying up until 12 every day. However, this is mainly due to my horrific time-management skills. If I stayed off of CC and other sites and actually got my homework done efficiently, then I’d probably be going to sleep around 9 every day. Yeah, I don’t know how I’m going to survive this year…</p>
<p>Oh, and good luck to everyone on their first day of school!</p>
<p>I wish I could go to sleep by 12! The earliest I’ve gone is around 12:45 except for the first night. I start my second week of school tomorrow</p>

<p>@elf4eva: We get about the standard amount for our APs its just that I’m usually getting home at about 10:30 due to volleyball and play practice after that</p>
<p>@AlexHarper How are you still alive? lol. My freshman year I played tennis and wouldn’t get home until 7 or 8. Then I’d spend until 12 doing homework that would take a normal human being a couple hours, because that’s just the kind of neurotic perfectionist I am haha. Yeah, I’m not doing tennis this year, but I do practice flute for at least 2 hours a day. Still though, that’s not half as time-consuming as what you’re doing…</p>

<p>I had 1 ap and all honor classes last year and got home at 3-ish everyday and only spent half an hour to an hour on homework each night… This year will probably be a little longer spent at school, babysitting three hours most days of the week and a little more hw… I’m getting to bed around 9:30 -10:00… I’m so tired by then, I don’t have as much energy as some of you guys.</p>
<p>It’s my last day of holiday tomorrow and I’m speniding the whole day at the paralympic cycling. And did I mention how much work I have left to do?</p>
<p>It was my first day today. I don’t really like the people in my classes, but it’s not a biggie. I’m the only sophomore in AP Euro among a few juniors and mainly seniors, so it’s a tad intimidating. XD</p>

<p>Today during Spanish, our teacher made us HOLD A PENCIL IN OUR MOUTHS to practice pronunciation??? … I’m sorry, I’m still speechless, and this was a morning class. WHAT??? Have any of your language teachers done anything remotely similar to this???</p>
<p>I started today, too! My Spanish teacher didn’t have time to teach us anything, she just went over the rules of conduct and syllabus.</p>
<p>It was a good day. I like my classes and I have friends in all of them. We go by an even/odd schedule so I’ll be in my other classes tomorrow, I’m so excited!</p>
<p>I feel like my school is the only one that doesn’t give extra credit, allow a test retake, and gives about 1.5 hrs a night for PAP and 2-4 for AP</p>

<p>My school gives 2-4 for an AP most definitely!! No extra credit, Test retakes or corrections. No late work period. And an A is a 93-100</p>
<p>No extra credit (for the most part) , some APs at my school give so much hw… Others don’t. My grading scale is the same as Alexs</p>
<p>For GCSEs (external exams in 10th grade) to get an A* the boundary is normally around 80, but can be as low as 70, depending on the exam. I’ve had PE with 94 and Spanish with 65. That’s why everyone’s going on about grade inflation here…</p>

We had a Drama Club meeting for upperclassmen only, to find out about committees…I’m in Tech Squad and Inter-theatrics XD</p>
