Europe is great, I’m planning on Interrailling (eurrailling to non EU people) next summer or during my gap year. It’s an easy, cheap way to see a lot.
It’s actually a little disappointing how few countries I’ve been to in Europe. Only UK, France, Belgium and Spain I think.
My old family name (My grandparents changed it) was Von Clary und Aldringen, can’t get more Czech/German than that!

Did you guys get a little Collegeboard packet? I took the test in that and wow, managed a 225 even though I’ve been getting 190’s in the ones from outside resources. I hope the real PSAT is that easy.

^^I
ve always wanted to go to Europe, and will, someday. A couple of my friends are going there on a graduation trip…they
re raising the money all by themselves, though.

^Yeah, it
s like blue on one side, orange on the other. Started taking it today in English, and am going to finish tonight…don
t really know how well I`m going to do.

No, i didnt recieve a packet. However on the Princeton Review 2013 i got a
CR: 67
M:57
W:66
literally scored this 15 minutes ago

I have the PSAT tomorrow. Wish me luck! Also, a fantastic opportunity has appeared to me…

I am speaking at a TED conference!!! This is so unreal.

Yep, taking it tomorrow too. Good luck!

And CONGRATS!!!
:D

I’m taking the PSAT tomorrow too!

@HobbitTon Congrats! What are you going to talk about? How did you manage to get in?

PSAT!

Alright, guys! Tomorrow’s a big-ish day! I only say big-ish because we don’t really get anything out of it except practice and knowledge about what areas we need to work on, haha. Anyways, good luck to all! I’m doing some final studying in a few moments.

Bon nuit!

For those of us taking the PSAT tomorrow, best of luck, do your best, and know no matter whether your score is high or low compared to the rest of CC, it
s most likely in the 90-100 percentile compared to the rest of your school, unless it
s super competitive, in which case it`s probably still great.
Long story short--Do well, dont stress, it
s gonna get me outta my math class, so it`ll be fun enough for me, and, oh yeah, no one stay up past 11:30. Get some sleep!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get psat results back? I’m so nervous for tomorrow, I honesty didn’t study much. What about you guys?
I took the SAT in 7th grade, and did decently, just hoping that the PSAT will be a good indicator for how I’ll do on the SAT next year

How much did you study? I
ve been doing a little bit of online stuff, and working out of our prep book. If you took the SAT in SEVENTH GRADE and did decently, then why are you worrying? Sure you
ll do a heck of a lot better than me.

December. Results are back in December, according to the 3rd page of my little prep book.

LOL I’m doing that little prep book too! I’ve done the same, just prep book and some online stuff from collegeboard
And I did decently, but I swear it was on luck, just being a good test taker and good at vocab.

It cracks me up at school the people who have barely any idea what the PSAT is, let alone how it works. All I heard yesterday and today, “I`m not going to know anything, and I heard a rumor points are deducted for wrong answers!”

Me: “Uh…you know if you just leave it blank no points are deducted, right?”

Them: * NO WAY!*

Yeah, this one kid in my English class said he got a perfect score on the prep book. Haven
t finished doing it yet, but I didn
t do great on the first Critical Reading section, mostly because I was in school and everyone around me was distracting.

I don’t necessarily blame the kids. I didn’t know about the PSAT’s existence until I stumbled upon the website. I did make sure to tell people about the whole “leave it blank if you don’t know” strategy.

I like helping people. :p

^ Yeah I agree, but these are also the kids who don`t care about school, grades, or PSATs.

Good luck 2015ers, and report back with how you think it went. I
m sure it
ll range from “I did awesome!” to “I think I got a 0” or something similar.

So Im gonna go to sleep in about an hour. Tonight was all about the debate in my mind so it looks like I have 59 minutes to study lol

I’m taking mine tomorrow too. I’m going to be cramming grammar rules tonight so that way, I can at least do somewhat well on the Writing section.

I just found out that I am speaking at a Tedx Talk a couple days ago, so for now, I am letting it all soak in! My topic will probably be something on servant leadership and how it makes us all human.

I am so ill prepared for the PSAT! Thank God it doesn’t count for much now, but I feel really bad

phew…

The Psat was pretty easy

Math i think i got around a 55-61
Reading around a 63-70
Writing 65-75
