^Your working on your AM phrases.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaapy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen

and also All Souls day.

What`s a “AM phrase”?

Our ASB petitioned for a day off today and got it, so now there’s no school today, and literally half the school is at a parade in the city… as for me, I prefer to sit at home and do homework…

Haha CE527M, I LOVE IT - all the rest of the kid are under achievers!

Happy Halloween everyone!

@elfeva that’s amazing. I wish our USB was that powerful.

I wish we coud petition for no school. Oh well, already got a day off, and Tuesday is election day, so we have off then too (Does this FINALLY mean no more ads saying vote for _because he`s better than ?!?!?)

@CE527M
Yeah… until 2016 :P

On another note,
I love ellipticals! :D

Ah I wish we had election day off x( I legitimately want to watch the elections. On top of it, I think that all of the sports have practices.

I legitimately am going to NEED Tuesday off, because I`m getting my braces on Monday, so 4 day weekend for me, but half of it in pain.

Over here we’ve had three days off (five, including weekends) because of the hurricane. We’re so behind on the AP bio schedule it’s ridiculous.

@goodnoodle The thing is, our school promised us a day off sometime in the future because we raised a certain amount of money in our annual fundraiser. So our ASB just asked for it to be today, mainly because the Giants won the World Series and everyone wanted to go to the parade.

But yeah, I wish the ASB could just ask for a day off school whenever we all wanted it XD.

woohoo no school for the entire week…

I think I’m going through a sophomore slump. I’m always bored. Once I come home I can’t wait to go back to school, and then I’m bored at school. I’ve been screwing around in all of my classes and neglecting hw. I’m not happy with my grades either. I have 4 As(2 minuses) and a B in Precalc honors and B+ in chemistry honors. Then I’m missing seniors from last year. Everything’s so mediocre lately. I think freshman year was so much more fun. I seriously need to step up the game for grades though.

OK, then step it up. Sophomore year—> Junior Year—> Senior Year. Nothing`s going to get any easier. So might as well do the best you can now.
My (sorta) motivational speech that probably wasn`t that great, otherwise known as my .02.

^I actually am expecting senior year to be easier. I’ll be in AP Calc BC which will be easy after taking AB junior year. AP English will be easy because I enjoy English and its my best subject. AP Gov will be the best class ever considering my love of politics. The only hard class will AP Bio if I actually take it. And I’ll have two electives.

So yeah I am expecting it to get harder and then easier. But it’s not just classes that are causing this sophomore slump. Practically all the sophomores in the school want to be freshmen again.

But um thanks for the speech. It wasnt really helpful but it was well intended.

Yeah, Senior year is known to be the easiest (for some), so I kinda forgot to say step it up because it
ll get harder than easier, but oh well. Funny how taking 3-4 APs will be easy and fun. Don
t underestimate AP English. I have a friend who
s taking 3 APs–AP English, Gov
t, and Stats, and at first, it was really easy, fun, etc, but now she said it
s a lot of work, and AP English ain
t easy.

from what ive heard, AP lit is notoriously easy at my school

Wow. Pretty tough here. Varies by teacher, but nothing easy.

Some seniors like to get a ton of bs classes, and most opt out of a fourth block (most people have pretty much all there credits before the graduate) … My plan on the other hand…

Junior:
AP USH
AP Earth and Environmental science
AP English
AP Stat
AP World
Honors French IV
Student Council
Ceramics II

Senior:
AP Bio
AP Calc BC
AP French
AP Ceramics (possibly, not sure if they’ll let me skip ceramics III)
AP Computer Science (I’m super interested in programming)
Student Council
Possibly something else easy or that I’m interested in

I am back from Greece! Exhausted but had a brilliant time, I would higly reccomend it to any of you who get the opportunity to go
It was a classics trip, so we focused on ancient sites, but we looked at all time periods, not just the 5th century BC.
Spent two days in Athens (which was great but all pretty dirty and covered in graffiti) where we went to the national archaeological museum and the acropolis museum, then the next day we went to the acropolis which was incredible!
Then we went off to Delphi (which was a long drive) saw the site of the oracle and temples around it, more of it was there than any other site and the weather was much better that day.
Then an even longer drive to Olympia, which was huge and we just had to sprint down the old track
Then two, but really one and a half, in a small beach town called Tolon, from which we visited Mycaenae and the theatre at Epiduarus, both very cool.
We left the hotel at 3am this morning, then had a 3 hour drive followed by a 4 hour flight hence the tiredness.

Not sure if any of you are actually interested in this, but so excitred about it I though I’d share anyway :D

Adding to schedules, I will either be doing IB (Maths, Biology and History AL, Chemistry, English and Spanish SL) or A Levels (roughly equivalent to AP, taken over two years)

19th and 20th Century World History
Chemistry
Maths
Classical Civilisations or Biology, depending on which school I end up at
