High School Class of 2015

Did you guys also take a pre ACT? I did … I’ve not done any research at all into the test (I’ve no idea what’s good, what’s normal, what a perfect score is, how much each section is worth…)

Also got a 94 on my physics test and I passed my calculus test (which half the class failed) with an A. I’m pretty happy about all that …

@QQwang2015, you have to tell us what you got!!

@RoseOak, I know! It’s expensive. I took some writing courses with CTY when I was in middle school.

@kypdurron, haha top authors list is so much fun to read!!! :D

is it too late to join ecs 2 school, i have a fairly sparse amount :(

Technically I’m a Class of 2015 member, but I’m applying to college this year. To those who don’t know, an awesome score on the ACT is anything over 30, but if you want to be really competitive, 32+ will do you well. Less than a tenth of a percent of those who take the test get a perfect 36 (which only allows you to miss 2 questions, but it might vary based on the test).

I just took the ACT yesterday and feel really confident.

Oh, and our PSAT scores are taking foreeeeeever. I’m not too excited about mine, I didn’t finish any of the sections. But I did considerably well on the actual SAT and the ACT, so…yeah, I dunno. We’ll see. :P

purmou, do you mean you’re applying for college as a sophomore in high school? :p

Yeah, I’m a sophomore in HS.

Somebody Rep me. I hate being on a distingushed Road

It takes more than 1 time to get another square.

I would just like to point out that I am only 11 points of 4 squares on TSR, which requires 200 points to get, however you give as many points with each rep as you have squares.
This system is a little more mysterious, but my guess is that it will become pretty similar soon.
Does anyone have summer plans yet? I should be going to a short debate camp and a history/international relations/work camp in Germany. Hopefully I’ll get on a WWI one, so we’ll have lessons, trips and will be cleanign and repairing monuments and graves.

Summer plans…

-Helping out with Vacation Bible School at my church
-Vacation somewhere most likely
-Rowing camp at the Naval Academy

Sounds like fun Ukgirl!

So, I got back my PSAT scores Friday and got a 189. I’m really happy, especially with my math score (a 61).

Got a 218 on my PSAT  i thought i did really bad so obviously I’m ecstatic!! Anyone else getting their scores back?

Yeah my school finally has a Wikipedia page! Of course it lists Mitt Romney as an alumni and that my school is the epitome of the mass production education system. Lol.

@akacesfan and @crazyfrog: congrats! Those are both awesome scores!!

I’m REALLY hoping to get mine back on Tuesday but I’m kind of nervous! Right after the test I felt super confident, but as I wait I keep feeling like I did worse and worse. Looking at the official score curve, if I do how I thought I did, I should score around a 210. But I’m afraid ill actually get the scores back and end up doing worse.

Still haven’t gotten my scores back yet!! No one has even mentioned them, most people I know could care less.

@CE527M same here! no one has said a word about them at all! When I mention it to my friends that I can’t wait to get them back, they just shrug or say “yeah…” I asked the dean (in charge of stuff like PSATs) when we would get them and she just said sometime in December.

The rumor in my school is that we get the PSAT scores today (Monday)…I’m so anxious!

@petlover At least yourpage sounds interesting! On our one, nobody has ever heard of 2 out of the 3 ‘notable alumni’!
My new school, however: [Westminster School - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Westminster School - Wikipedia) lists 7 prime ministers and huge numbers of famous people :D

So everyone at my school got an e-mail from College Board saying we could log in to see our scores, but we need the access code, located on our score sheets, which the counselors haven’t given us, so now I really want to know since I have an e-mail from them!!

We have homeroom on Friday so I’m expecting my PSAT scores and Pre ACT scores then… I’m nervous…

@CEM, same here.
