<p>Kypdurron, define gay slurs. People here will say the three letter F word that refers to gay people. Gay people generally won’t get mad about that word unless its directed at them. The phrase “that’s gay” has been less common since entering high school because even straight people will get mad at you for saying it unless you’re actually referring to something that could be “interpreted” as gay. Gay teachers will make jokes about themselves, students not so much. People here aren’t really worried though. Like I said earlier must guys will hug each other and say “I love you”</p>

<p>We’re gay friendly. We have openly gay kids and there haven’t been any real incidents of bullying because of sexuality. There’s a GSA too.</p>

<p>At this point living in a non-gay friendly area to me would be like attending a recently-desegregated-southern-racist-school in the 60’s.</p>

<p>I watched all 39 hours of Merlin series 1-4 in 4 days, I actually did it :D</p>

<p>@jax our break is 2 weeks long, ending January 7. Semester grades are looking good (or in range of being As) except for Precalc hon at 83.9 B. it’ll be hard to get that to an A in 3 weeks, and idk if its possible.</p>

<p>I’ve been on break since the 14th (that was our last day) and go back next Wednesday. </p>

<p>Semester grades…teachers haven’t updated for a while, but some A’s, some B’s, I don’t know.</p>

<p>I’ve been off since the 20th and go back on the 7th to 2 weeks of exams. I have study leave though, which means I don’t have to be in school except for the exams, so I get 4 of those days off :smiley:
Off to Lanzarote on the 27th, some hardcore revision going down dring the flights XD</p>

<p>I had the 21st off, plus the next two weeks. I’m back on the 7th.</p>

<p>Though this isn’t really a break at all for me. :stuck_out_tongue: I gotta finish applications by the 28th, and hopefully next week can be spent relaxing a bit and watching all my shows on Netflix.</p>

<p>The final episode of Merlin was dissapointing. After 4 amazing seasons, characters I had fallen in love with and not to mention the time I put into watching it again, it should have been better.
That said, it was good enough to get me crying so hard I started hyperventilating at one point… happens when your favourite 4 characters die in one episode.</p>

<p>So I don’t really reccomend starting watching it now, it just leads to that.</p>

<p>I’m off to bed soon, and it’s christmas in the mornign! So excited :D</p>

<p>Oh, stop, CE527M. I’m not that great as you make me out to be. I’m doing up to 17 speaking events over the course of 5 months. I would be speaking at conferences in the USA and Asia. So maybe like an unofficial international solo speaking tour?</p>
