<p>I have finals this week (really midterms, but it’s the end of the semester). It’s fine, though, since next week is Regents week, meaning no school. This summer, I plan to get a job, take an intensive acting class, study Algebra2/Trig so I can take AP Calc this fall, and volunteer somewhere. I hope my dad will teach me to drive, too. I might have a sweet 16.</p>
<p>All of this is tentative though because I might need surgery this summer for scoliosis. :/</p>
<p>Yeah finals for the next three days. Not to bad though get a four day weekend.</p>

<p>@UKGirl We were just slammed with 2 essays and 30 math problems on the first day of school. What the … is wrong with people? :)</p>
<p>Luckily, our finals were in december. At least I don’t have that to worry about until May.</p>
<p>Said German organisation replied and told me I can’t come on the history this year because I don’t turn 16 until a week after the camp ends 
I guess I’ll be spending more time in France then.</p>

<p>I need a paying job to save up some money for next year. As I’m going to be boarding, I won’t be able to keep my paper round or babysit as often. And seeing as it’s a provate school, more spending money will probably help :)</p>

But get this: we have to write essays in gym this year!!! Apparently NYS wants more writing in all curriculums (although I haven’t done any writing in Algebra 2/Trig…yet). This is insane. Maybe next year we will need to write a report on the history of lunch…</p>
<p>^ I had two 2 hours theory exams for PE last year. I got 2 As (max is A*) at GCSE for 2 years of work on it. The teachers really messed up.</p>

<p>Thanks I’ll either be talking about imposing a fat tax, banning kids from social networks or what the purpose of education is, so should be fun.
Also snow forcast for all of friday and saturday and bits of sunday! Just hoping that it comes in time for us to get friday off school :)</p>
