@tiger
I am a sophmore and I enjoy it more than I enjoyed my freshman year. Mainly because I have much better teachers

I really look forward to junior year! even though I’ve heard it’s a very busy year.

@tiger so far this is the best year. I don’t want it to end

This year has been alright. Lukewarm. Not particularly bad, but not particularly good either. I will say that it’s definitely better than freshman year.

I think it really sucks. Major exams in every subject, whereas next year will only be a few subjects of my choice.

@westwardbound Alright. The teacher kept nodding all through it though which was slightly disconcerting. For the first time I’ve actually got no idea how well I’ve done.

Got my report card:

English-99
French-99
Global history-100
Algebra 2/Trigonometry-86

Weighted Average: 99.41
Unweighted Average: 96.00

Yeah, I did pretty bad in math…luckily I got a 100 on the most recent test XD Only one in both of my teacher’s classes!

@almostanonymous hahaha my spanish teacher did that all through my mock even when I knew I wasn’t making sense. Dont sweat it :)

Congrats petlover! Eh, it’s one class. And that 100 certainly is something to be proud of. :)

Hello!
I’m also class of 2015 and what can I say? High school is awesome if you make the most of it and pursue your interests. So far your plans seem pretty great! You should join some prestigious programs if you can so you can make it to a great college later on in senior year!
Good luck in high school!

For the next two years I’m going to be studying History, maths, chemistry and biology. I love History, find maths incredibly dull but easy, enjoy some parts of biology and don’t really enjoy chemistry. So much for pursuing my interests…

The storms in the NE are major news here, have any of you been affected?

@Ukgirl well we got some snow…they couldn’t close school unless it was really really severe because of how many days we lost to Sandy…although some other districts did.
I don’t think this storm is so bad…the blizzard of December 2010 was the worst snowstorm I’ve ever seen.

Um, sophomore year has been quite good. I did really well last semester.
However, I started choosing my IB subjects and it’s really stressing me out.
Apart from that, this year has been a lot of fun :)

Does anybody know about ACT? What ACT score is equivalent to about 2300 in SAT?

[Convert ACT to SAT - How to Convert SAT Scores to ACT Scores](Convert ACT to SAT: A 2017 Table for Score Conversion) it depends on how you score on each section. Check out this chart.
