@Replying it won’t

.

@Phillyy15 I know xD

This is unacceptable. As a rising captain in BOT, it is my duty to inform you all that we must not fall to the second page. I’m absolutely disgusted. Get it together, Class of 2015.

Sincerly,
Hawkace
BOT Captain (Expecting Promotion)

Sorry sir.

@Hawkace I appreciate your dedication to the cause and am pleased to announce that you are, indeed, being promoted to the position of BOT Captain. May the bumps be in your favor and your SAT subscores high.

@foolish What are we talking about?

NOOOOOOOOOO, I have to take JORTC and I have a B period lunch. Today is a sad day :-<

@Hawkace Be sure to put that stellar achievement on all your college apps.

Random question but if you guys end up at one of your safeties, will you try to transfer out later on and try for your reach school or other reach schools again?

I’m thinking about that myself. I think of transferring as like moving houses, and when I moved when I was younger and had to switch schools, it was the worst experience of my life. I cried every day for like 3 months because I had no friends at my new school. I didn’t end up making friends until well into winter. So even if a school is my safety, I’d probably stay for all 4 years because I don’t want to go through anything similar to that again.

I thought safeties were places you’d be happy attending… undergrad’s importance pales in comparison to grad school anyway. Go where you get in, you’ll love It either way. But that’s just me…

^ I second that. Plus, transfer admissions to basically any decent school are going to be very competitive, and I hear transfers get crap financial aid offers.

I’d stay where I am. If decided to apply there in the first place I might as well like it. Unless I had a 99.9999% of being accepted as a transfer to Stanford. UOENO :D

This might be a dumb question but…

The UC personal statement asks you write about the world you came from. But when choosing an engineering major they say “Freshman applicants to the College of Engineering are advised to discuss their interest in their intended major in the personal statement”.

So does that mean you talk about why you want to do intended major? Or do a combination of both…which I can’t see happening at all :(

I appreciate it, Commander @foolish. Wait, I just realized that Captain is higher than Commander. I can be Commander and you can be a captain.

I definitely will, @CE527M.

Again bumping this because it’s falling through the cracks. Get it together.

About the safety topic… You should like your safety lol. I loooove mine

For you guys that have started school, how is it?

@jellybae same as ever lol.

But yeah my safety, Alabama, is amazing.

How do you guys choose your safeties?
