High School Class of 2015

I found out today that I was named captain of the Math League. I’m glad I finally got a leadership position.

Congrats @Hawkace!

I’ve submitted 2/5 essays, but I haven’t started any of the other 3.

@metsfanAJM‌ @Phillyy15‌ I was all done with standardized testing three months ago :D

I envy the people who are done with standardized testing ~X(

I’ve gotten essays for all of my colleges written. I’ll edit and revise them over the next month or two but I’m glad I don’t have to sit down and wrote thousands of words at once.

Took the SAT November junior year. Best decision of my life.

Procrastinating on all 365673567876 college essays, not so much.

I just bombed my first physics exam. Whoop-de-doo. I regret my decision to take it at the same time as AP Bio. Essay writing has pretty much come to a standstill. :((

@Nihilunt - first AP English in-class timed essay, I fell asleep and didn’t finish my first body paragraph. Haven’t gotten it back yet, but I’m just hoping for a 20%. I feel ya :)

Pulled the 93 on the Fluid Dynamics test out of my ***. I sometimes wonder if it is worth it taking physics in high school. Then I think, I sure as hell do not want to take Physics in college. Better to get the credits over with now.

I’ve finally digivolved into…member B-)

lol @QuadMaster I beat you though. I want to be Senior Member already. (When I have the option to edit a post, I just decide to add a new one - beefing the stats. Is that petty  )

Being a senior member makes it look like I have no life. I promise I do!

To a “member”: Senor Member = godlike status
I feel like a peasant lol when I post something and I see someone else post with like 20,000 posts

Bow down to me, peasant!

i got an 81 on my second physics test

can someone fix me ???

Fix you? That’s not bad @Ctesiphon‌! If it’s Physics 1 or 2, watch MS. TWU. I think I told that to someone else a few days ago…She saved my Physics B average and got me a 5 on the AP test. Just look her up on google: Ms. Twu Physics

Well, it’s kind of bad if I want to be a physicist one day. Funny thing is I actually studied for that test. Spent many hours a day doing practice problems several days prior to the test. Felt I was understanding all of the concepts.

I find there is a negative correlation between test scores and time spent studying.

I find there is a negative correlation between test scores and time spent studying.
^

Don’t know if that’s true, but there definitely is one between stress/nerves and test scores aha

I would say the relationship between test scores and time spent studying is characterized by a bell curve. You need to study to do well but overworking yourself can also be bad. Unfortunately, I don’t do well on tests because I procrastinate too much :P

Now, @DaneBrick‌ , are we 95, 98, or 99% percent confident that the relationship is a bell curve? ;)

@Ctesiphon‌ May I ask what the topic(s) on your test(s) were and maybe what about the content you’re having trouble clicking with?
