High School Class of 2015

I took Algebra 2 last summer by simply asking the school to give me the book. After self-studying, I went in to take the midterm and final. You could also take an online class. I’m really glad to have moved on to pre-cal mainly because it’s useful for math tests like the AIME. If you think taking a class over the summer is worth it, then go ahead!

Hi All! new to cc. nice to find this thread!

Our school will start next year’s registration soon. I’m trying to get into AP chem!

Sup CC-bros, junior/rising senior here, feel free to ask any questions.

Me too! My school won’t allow me though. They say I have to take honor chem next year, then take ap chem in my junior year. :(

I am in the similar situation. But my school said I could ask for special permission. so I’ll try. In the summer, I’ll take a fast paced HS chemistry course so they may let me take AP next year.

I’M JOINING IN ON THIS FUN (:

I attend highschool in NC. I am the valedictorian of the freshman class at my school (i just found this out today, i’m so surprised!) . . . anyways next year i plan on applying to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics; it is a boarding school in Raleigh/Durham known for it’s cutting edge research and top tier students in the state. It was the first public boarding school in the country, and all others that are similar are modeled after it. I can’t wait to apply! I got a 1970 on my SAT this year (shooting for 2010 by next year ), but i have to take it again in my sophomore year for it to qualify for my NCSSM application. Tomorrow i’m taking the PSAT & i’m super nervous for some reason.

HELLO FELLOW C/O 2015’ERS ! :D

Hi, I am freshman in bay area, CA pretty well known school. Glad to meet you all.
In my national famous school no AP’s are allowed before Junior year and no outside courses are given credit!!!

everyone here is so smart! I’m currently a freshman of year 2015 too, and I’m taking very basic subjects. My school doesn’t have a lot of APs (they aren’t open to freshmen either), and languages, ECs, and sports are very limited as well. Well good luck to everyone here!

@wjdrk, the fact you’re on CC shows you’re not ordinary - don’t mean to imply anything about myself. lol
