Is it bad that I’m actually so jealous of you that get to go to school? Honestly, I’m tired of staying at home every day. It’s -10F, but with wind chill, it’s like -30F. We didn’t have school today and we won’t tomorrow. We’re gonna have to make up a lot of snow days this year…

Thanks guys! I may update my post if anything comes up/more questions.

@np2734- I have no idea. Sorry!

@EveningSwan- I feel ya. I honestly rather stay at school, because I feel more pressured to study at home lol Which state do you live?

Considering most of my learning occurs at home, home> school.

I wish my parents would let me home school :(

@TeamRocketGrunt. did u ask them? explain why you may prefer it, talk it over together. it might help!

Did anyone watch FSU vs Auburn? That was so fun to watch.

We don’t have school today either. I don’t live far up north, but it’s still going into the negatives for us.

Right about now is when I feel bad cause there are now snow days in boarding school…arghhh

College football? gross

@imhkim The lovely state of Ohio…I wish it was cold enough that I could take a pot of boiling water and just throw it over my deck and see the water instantly vaporize. :)

I don’t like to waste my time watching brain damage ball.

@Battle - All I know is that FSU won because it was all over the news.

Wow, let’s all be less judgmental here about football.

@desigirl: Wow, that IS big class! We have a pretty large class, but not that big, haha. I honestly wish that they wouldn’t reveal our exact rank, it makes things SO much more competitive. It sucks. :/

@TeamRocket: I wish I could be home-schooled, but I really enjoy the extra-curriculars that I do, so I would hate to not be able to do those.

@Foodlover: LUCKY! =P I only wish for no school.

@catchinginfinity: Seconding. This is a free place. A lot of us like to do things that others think is so weird, so we really shouldn’t judge others.

Well, it seems as if I’m already behind on school, le sigh, and it’s only my first day back. I’ll probably stay up late tonight to get at least a little ahead because I have soo many speeches to write for my debate tourney this weekend.

anyone how a dropped class looks on transcripts? thanks

^ You should be fine, but it sorta depends on what class it is and the grade you got in it. Also how many classes you’ve dropped thus far. If you drop one class with a passing grade in it you should be fine.

Oh I just saw you’re thread about failing AP bio, guess that kinda gives it away. I mean, the class and the grade you got first semester will still be on your transcript, but since its AP bio and you’re a sophomore, colleges will understand. But are you legitimately failing it like, an F?

So I finally got my PSAT score back.
56 CR 47 Math 43 Writing and I’m the highest score on CR.

@frenchiexx yes I am. I study, get good grades on labs and stuff. but the tests kill me even though i study my a** off

@np - What do you get on tests…? At least in my school, if you get 100s on all the labs/homeworks, but say you get a 50 on every single test, that would come out to probably a 70% (which is a C here).

I would drop it, and explain it later under the additional info portion when it’s time to apply for colleges. Not going to sugarcoat anything; dropping a class you’re failing WILL hurt you, but it’s better dropping it and getting an A+ in another class the second semester than not dropping it and failing the year.

“I don’t like to waste my time watching brain damage ball.”

You remind me of certain people

I like college basketball…not much of a football guy
I follow most sports from a statistical perspective
But I genuinely like college basketball
