High school class of 2016

@Almondjoy7‌ at my school an 82 is a B- and an 82.5 is a B.

@foolish‌ the downplay thing won’t work because I act really seriously in math class so

Hey have any of you guys been to the Speech and Debate National Tournament? And if so, which categories are you in? I just found out that that competition doesn’t have poetry or prose, so I would have to switch to Orginal Oratory if I wanted to go.

Has anyone else seen Brown’s twerk team on YouTube?

Does anybody have possible solutions to the issue I posted above? I know you guys have some creative minds

Do better in class next time. You deserve the grades you get.

Who here is maintaining a 4.0 UW so far? Anyone making all A’s?

^Yeah, but my school is really easy.

I’d say my school is easy too, but I’m just unmotivated. Props to you!

~3.75 uw at a county notorious among colleges for grade deflation. Probably wouldn’t have a 4.0 at any school, even if it was easy, because my math skills are definitely lacking

Our school doesn’t use the 4.0 GPA, but rather the 100 scale. Does anybody know what a 96.72 would be on the 4.0 scale? I had a 89 in geometry once for a quarter in 9th grade though.

@alzhao - That’s what my school does, too! My counselor told me a 96+ unweighted is a 4.0 around here.

@sunsh0wers‌ Ahh I see, thanks for the help! But would the 89 in my first quarter of geometry lower that GPA? Would my GPA then be like 3.98 or something like that?

My UW gpa went down. The class was supposed to be easy but I was too lazy to study for any of the test. Lesson learned.

Maintaining that 4.0 status, but 1/4 of my schedule is choir anyway. This is great because all of my courses next year are either music related, ap’s of my strong suit (Lang, US gov), or extensions of classes I took this year (AP Calc BC, AP Chem).

On the other hand, just totally bombed by math 2 subject test and did worse than I expected on lit, so now I have to retake those (eventually).

@typeakid‌: my SAT II Math 2 guide may help. It’s on my profile if you’re interested.

I got my SAT II scores today and I’m so happy because I’m now done with subjects tests forever!

Post scores

@TeamRocketGrunt‌

Can you send a link to this? I can’t seem to find it.

Currently have a 98.93% average or a 3.9575

@Apollo11‌ I’ve always wondered: How do you convert your number average to a 4.0 scale? I’ve seen like 3 different ways to do it, but which one is correct?
