High school class of 2016

@TeamRocketGrunt‌

My mistake. I would have thought a prospective engineer would go for AP Calculus BC. Self studying AB is much easier, if you wanted to.

@alzhao‌ @ABCGIRL‌

Good luck with SATs! I took the Dec one and I’m done, thankfully.

@ABCGIRL‌ LOL, my brother loves k-dramas, but I’ve never really gotten hooked on them. I’m currently watching Marco Polo and Sherlock, both of which are really good.

Thanks @Woandering‌! Hopefully I can also take the Jan. one and be finished as well.

I’m taking the March SAT, and then maybe Bio, Chem, and USH in June/next fall. Haha I’m already procrastinating.

In other news, I’m writing a peer recommendation for my friend who’s applying to Dartmouth. Wish me luck!

@alzhao‌ Subject tests are not offered in March.

I am taking US History, Math II, Chemistry, and Physics. Took Biology (750) in Sophomore year.

@alzhao‌ I’m in the same boat as well with the January SAT…hopefully this will be my last time…I didn’t do so well on the October SAT…so close to cracking the 2200 mark :(

I’m taking the January one hopefully. I’ll take it again in April and take Lit in May. None of the schools I’m seriously considering require SAT 2’s, but I think getting a high score in Lit and maybe M Bio will help my chances at the honors college in my state.

I’m already signed up for the January SAT and February ACT. In May or June, I’m planning to take Math 2 and Biology M SAT II tests.

I am taking the SAT in January also. I got 2270 first time in the fall.

Did anyone else submit to National Scholastics?

Anyone know how specific the answers to the research questions for RSI have to be?

Why are all of you taking your SAT in January? Is there a specific reason? I was planning on waiting until June but would March be better?

@HeyItsNick The curve is worse the later you take it, so it’s better to take it early. Also, it gives you more time to prep in case you need to take it again later on, like in March or June.

@anonemuss‌ @HeyItsNick‌
There is no pattern to the curve despite the rumors. However, it is better to take it early to give you more time. In case you have summer apps, you could leave it to later.

I was going to take it in January, but I didn’t sign up in time. I am just going to take it in March now. I plan on taking Math II, Physics, and maybe Bio in June. Then French in December.

@HeyItsNick I wanted to take it in January so that I could retake it if I don’t like my score. And I just wanted to take it as early as possible.

@gbrl10‌ I don’t think the late deadline has passed yet, so you might be able to sign up but there’ll be an additional fee.

@TotallyTrudy‌ Oh I know. I just don’t want to pay that much extra for the late registration fee.

Argh finishing up my Endevvr application. Just a video to go, and I have some of tomorrow to finish it. Any of you have experience with video applications? Like what to put in it?

Counting down to the new year!

Just sent in my Endevvr application…After I made my video, I realized how awfully it fit in with the rest of my application.

Hopefully helpful hint for you all, make sure your video reflects some part of your personality rather than an extended list of what else you do.

Launch application due in a few days, too, great.

Thanks for the explanations about the SAT, guys! Hope everyone had a good New Years… can’t believe that it’s already 2015! Only a year and a half until we graduate!
