High school class of 2016

@readingclaygirl where are you applying?

About applying, should someone start a thread of where the Class of 2016 is applying if that is allowed? I am really curious of where CCers would apply to. I have my schools ready too, just waiting for the admissions to open.

…I would love to see if the stereotype holds true that CCers only apply to elite privates and top state schools. Lol

@elefish92 I second that!

I had my first interview today, I was sweating bullets the whole time (arm pits so it wasn’t noticeable)

@2016senior woah why so early though?

^^^ I think it may be a little early to start a thread but then again, some people may have already know where they are going. I think if you want to start a thread about where everyone is applying too, people will post

*not to be a debby-downer, it could foster some too soon resentments and anxiety especially if alot people are applying to the same places

I think it’s best not to start a thread. There is a lot of putting down on here as it is. We don’t need people being jerks to those applying to the same colleges as they are if they happen to find their stats.

Some people don’t start school until September so I would wait until then. It really isn’t vital.

I mean it seems as if this whole website is people telling other people they aren’t good enough to get into college so what’s another thread gonna hurt?

You’re adding more fuel to the fire. That isn’t helping, but rather hurting this community.

@md1998 Russell Sage College in Troy Ny and then a community college as backup. Not too elite by CC standards but I love it.

paper towns was dope to say the least

@JaeHwanLoL I’m extremely jealous of you right now. I have no money and my parents won’t let me go because they say I’m going to be asking for a lot when school starts. However, I did get to see 20 minutes of it at the Get Lost, Get Found Paper Towns Tour event and got to see John Green, Saint Motel, and Nat Wolff.

How I wish I could see the movie. I guess I’ll just have to wait for it to be on Redbox or my TV (which probably won’t be a possibility because in March, The Fault in Our Stars premiered on TV, and I don’t think I can wait a year to see Paper Towns on my TV since I’ll probably be moving out in June).

I didn’t think paper towns was that good, thought it was slow until the last 20 minutes.

^Agreed. The plot/characters aren’t that good either. I liked FIOS better.

@XoXdreamerXoX - Try PrimeWire and Popcorn Time! Neither have Paper Towns yet, but they update pretty frequently :slight_smile:

@glasshours I would if I could get over my extreme guilt over not paying for something I watch or listen to. This is why I refuse to listen to music unless it’s on the radio, on the artist’s YouTube page, or until I buy the CD.

@anonemuss @jdschooled5 Have either of you tried reading Looking for Alaska?

@XoXdreamerXoX - Yep! Read Looking for Alaska, TFiOS, and Paper Towns

@XoXdreamerXoX primewire.ag might have it.

@jdschooled5 it was only good because of radar and ben and how relatable it was to high school kids. the ending kinda pissed me off but it was k. but the pokemon theme song doe
