Doing two early action, and one SCEA. Then a bunch of schools RD. As for my essays, I’m only halfway done with my Common App essays and I’ve planned out some of my supplements but haven’t written them.
I want to write my CA essay but just NOTHING to write about! It’s terrible.
I’m applying Dartmouth ED, and I have a really interesting nickname for one of the supplements. Just working on making it seem truly authentic now. Or maybe that would defeat the purpose. Whatever
I’m applying to 2 EA. Then I’ll see what happens from there.
I was planning on applying to Stanford and UPENN early but I haven’t done much of anything for my applications so we’ll see.

Interesting article I read in the paper today. It is a scary warning on the big decision we all are going to have to make in a few months. Remember choose the best situation for you, not going to a top 20 university is fine and going to one is fine. Read the comments though if you want a good laugh.

Should we list AP Scholar Awards on the CommonApp or use the spot for something else?

Official schedules came out today. Can’t see mine (just a mixed up list of classes and teachers) because my Spanish teacher said I am missing a book I PERSONALLY gave to her in JUNE. So mad right now. :(( >:P

Guys, I’m writing about my summer at an ivy league’s summer school program. Would it hurt my chances at other schools if I use it as my common app essay? If it does then I will just use it as a supplement for that particular school, but I think it’s my best essay so I would rather send it to all my schools. I know these are elite institutions and not jealous exes, but would they think “this kid will choose the school she wrote the essay about over us, so why should we accept her when there are others who are just as good?”
I have no idea how the Common Application works, apparently. Doesn’t help that none of my family does either.
Anyone know where we list summer programs on the common app?
