High school class of 2016

@skieurope Thanks for the clarification.

@Ergo20 @DadofKoopaKids Is it right that only send your scores from CollegeBoard to the school that you end up going to? That’s what I’ve been hearing, but I’m not sure.

@1358531 See my post 2 above yours.

@skieurope Ah, thank you! I didn’t reload the page before posting, sorry.

To be honest, I’m probably just going to save money and not take any AP tests this year.

^My school makes us take the exams :frowning:

@glasshours Do they pay completely or partially, or do they make you pay completely or partially?

@TheSlacker16 - We have to pay for everything. I think they make us take the exams to prevent seniors from dropping APs after getting into college/class ranks are released – really stupid.

They can’t force you to pay for something.

I’ve been I should deactivate my social media accounts after I turn in apps. Is anyone else doing this?

@LordBendtner Nope. How else will I keep in touch with my friends? I doubt admissions officers will take the time to look you up.

@lordbendtner just make them private

I’m pretty okay with them seeing my social media activity. I don’t swear, do drugs, party, or dress inappropriately. The most I do is talk about Ed Sheeran, The Fray, school, and more school.

It kind of helps that most of my former teachers and my grandma follow/friend me on social media. There’s nothing I wouldn’t say in front of them on there.

@XoXdreamerXoX I recently put my schools logo on a picture of the entrance to Auschwitz and made it my cover photo on fb. My posting history isn’t too good.

@2016senior Yeah I think that’s what I’m going to do.

And another thing, throughout high school I’ve been told to watch what I post because colleges can access anything on your social media account, even if it’s private. They have people that know their way around, apparently.

Well…deactivated

@ErenYeager Yes they can. They just prevent you from graduating if you don’t pay and take the test.

@ErenYeager - What @Woandering said. Also, my teachers tell us to let them know if we have a financial hardship and can’t pay for the exams.

Delete all of the posts and history off for Facebook. An effort, but worth it. I posted some stupid p00p in middle school and not just colleges but I don’t want anyone to have access to it. I also don’t post on Facebook anymore.

As for social media sites, I think the rest are useless. Sure they are for fun, but the cons outweigh the pros — in my opinion at least.

EDIT: I also changed my name to my nickname, hehe. No last name either, ahehe. (:
