All I do on Facebook is like posts from the Atlantic and occasionally stalk people Thankful that I remade my account in high school.
By the way, if any of your friends have pictures of you set on public that you don’t want to be seen by anyone, you should probably untag yourself. Even if it doesn’t even show up on your private profile, anyone who’s searched your name/clicked on your profile before can still view them by typing in “photos of [Facebook Name]”. (Granted, most people don’t know about this.)
A lot of my friends on Facebook have changed their names into clever monickers so that colleges won’t be able to find them when they search them up. I didn’t get it at first and was incredibly confused when I logged on FB for the first time in a week.
Yep, it’s a tradition at my school to change your name to a “senior” name… just a fun little play on words with your name or something like that. It’s honestly more about the fun rather than actually worrying about whether a college admissions officer will find embarrassing stuff on you. I doubt they have the time to check on thousands of applicants lol
Woooaaaah. Just discovered a post I made when feeling slightly too confident. I sounded so cocky. Oh well. It’s gone now. My social media accounts are all safe now.
Just curious, how many of you guys have already started school? I don’t start until after Labor Day, so that gives me a few more weeks to cram summer homework and work on essays.
