Yeah, I haven’t taken a traditional math class for a while (mostly 2-to-4-student, very intensive classes things), so AP Stats is actually a little rough so far… I really don’t want a B, but that’s what I have right now! :)) :)) :))
I’m from the c/o 2018 and I have a quick question. Should I go ahead and list colleges for the free score report or wait until Senior year? Also, do official score reports list sat and sat2 results separately (one report needed for sat scores and one for sat2)? I already have my schools picked out, but only one is a safety (UT w/ guaranteed admission). Would it matter that much if my first-choice saw a lower score?

@Hamlon I say wait till senior year since you never know how your scores will turn out. IMO, it’s worth it to pay the money to send your best scores later on. The score reports include all SAT and SAT IIs you choose to include.
@Hamlon I only sent scores automatically to my safeties where I was sure I’d be above the 75th percentile and waited to send the rest.
@Hamlon if you don’t have a lot of money to waste, I’d just use your free score reports. If you end up scoring way better later on, colleges won’t hold it against you.

Talking about failures/misfortunes, I have an awful week ahead (2 physics homeworks (like 50 problems rip), a physics lab (aka an essay), an english essay, a computer science test, and who knows what else…)
Also I’m 99% sure I’m gonna bomb my Spanish Lit test tomorrow… Goodbye my decent grade~~
I have two D’s one in AP Psychology and one in AP lit but hey it use to be two D’s and a F…I need to get my life together.
I just want to know who gave me the flu at such a time…
Less minor: I forgot to mention in my Questbridge app that I am affiliated with Posse before I submitted it… and one of my teachers (who now teaches at a university) who I asked to write me a rec letter over two months ago still hasn’t done it. I sent him a reminder a few weeks ago and another one before I submitted my application. Now… I wait.
Guess who hasn’t started her personal statement yet.
speaking more generally of failures, a bunch of us at my school have decided to post our college rejection letters on a wall, to kind of show that everyone gets rejected and it doesn’t have to be something to be ashamed of. I’m actually kind of excited, I think it’ll be really cool to see once we start getting answers back from schools. We can all wallow in our misery together
