Congrats to all of you guys!!
Accepted: Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, UT Austin.
Rejected: Princeton.
Waitlisted: None, thankfully! It’s a curse I would never wish upon anyone!
I’m incredibly siked and never thought that I was going to be in this position. I don’t think I’ve even fully processed it, and it’s gonna be really hard making a decision (but leaning Stanford rn). And I just feel so bad for all my friends who went through this entire process with me. A lot of them got rejected from all their top choices (thankfully some at least got into a few of their top choices). It’s hard to be happy when they’re feeling miserable. I mean, I knew I was going to face some form of this situation - either as the elated guy with the amazing decisions or the guy with straight rejections who has to congratulate all his friends who got the good news. I never expected I was going to be the fortunate one though. Sigh… I just wanted my friends to be happy WITH me, not FOR me.
This admissions cycle is brutal guys
Oh well, it’s over. My eyes are set on the exciting future haha
I missed Ivy Day boo
Well the week leading up to it, I got waitlisted at Amherst, waitlisted at Wesleyan, and rejected from Tufts (my dream school rip).
But I got into Brown =)) I hate college admissions lmao
I’m gonna post my sister’s stats lol:
Accepted: Lesley university, texas christian university, Merrimack university
Waitlisted: muhlenberg college
Rejected: earlham college
She got FA at lesley ($10.5/yr) and merrimack (&
$15/yr) but nothing from tcu. and she’s an international student.
She had a 1310 in SAT and a 3.5 GPA.
Btw does anyone know when Unity college and warren wilson release their decisions?
Stats: 4.37 WGPA, 1490 SAT
Accepted: OU (honors +9k/y), Florida Tech (top scholarship 21k/y), PSU
Waitlisted: Tulane, PSU full-tuition scholarship (soft-rejection and in state bias)
Rejected: PSU honors, MIT, Caltech, Stanford
When you are only accepted to schools where your stats are above the 75th percentile…
i guess for a full list:
accepted: uc davis, cal, ucsd, uc santa cruz, santa clara university, nyu honors, northeastern, cal poly slo, sjsu, uc merced, university of the pacific honors
waitlisted: mit (THE DREAM LIVES ON ;-; i’m impossibly, insanely dreaming, even though i know it’s the longest of long shots), stanford (!!! definitely would love to go here as well, but even my love for stanford pales in comparison to my <3 for mit), uchi, and vandy
rejected: harvard, columbia, yale, pomona, princeton
:~) not sure where i’m going next year! davis, sd, and sc gave me regents/honors, but i really like berk, so i have no idea what i’m doing atm :") hopefully visiting will clarify a few things!

It’s between JHU, Columbia, and maayyybeee Penn (if they ever send me my fin aid) right now
Exteremely excited and grateful to have such good options! Congrats to everyone for getting through this agonizing process!! <3
Anyone know places I can look online for physics help? I am taking a calculus based physics class through a community college and my professor is awful. ANY and ALL help is appreciated.

i am so grateful for my positive decisions, and even my not-so-positive ones, as they kept me from an outcome that wasn’t meant to be. you guys are all amazing people and I wish you all the very best that this crazy life has to offer
For anyone who is on the Berkeley waitlist, how are you approaching the optional essay, if you choose to write it?

Waitlisted: USC + UCLA
Rejected: None. I’m shocked.
committed to brown the other day with a REALLY GOOD financial aid package - much better than i expected. i am beyond elated!
ha! Brown doesn’t want more than one B for 2nd semester grades.
tbh my classes are way easier than i expected this year (even though i have mostly aps??) so i think i’ll be good but that screws a lot of people ik over
@hhjjlala Dang, what happens if you do get more than a B?
I can’t believe were about to graduate guys. I honestly was in tears when yesterday when my mom brought up how she was scared for her little baby to go to college far away from home. It’s bittersweet. :’) But here goes nothing.
Accepted: Northwestern, UPenn, Rice, USC, UT Austin, TAMU
Waitlisted: Harvard, Columbia, Duke
Rejected: JHU (probably should’ve gone to their diversity program), Stanford (a little bummed, but let’s be real here.
It was an amazing run guys, and I can’t wait for us to kill it in the future. Congrats again to everyone!
I thought I would post my stuff now. I can’t believe senior year is almost done. You guys got into some really amazing schools and I didn’t apply to nearly as many prestigious schools as y’all, but I’m still proud of where I got in so here it is
Accepted: Emory (Both Emory College and Oxford College), University of South Carolina (Honors), Winthrop University (Honors), Claflin University (Just about a full ride), Benedict College (same as Claflin), Lander University, Paine College.
Waitlisted: Duke
Rejected: Davidson (was a little shocked and disappointed)
This is such an amazing class. I’ll probably be going to Emory next year, but my parents really want me to go to University of South Carolina since it’s literally 15-20 minutes down the road. The journey has definitely been bumpy but I’m proud of all of us. We’re going to do great things.
