Well that’s great! @Madeline25
@ak2018 you made the 2100th comment…Congrats!
Lol @tonyk16 I swear you’re such a comedian! :)) :)) :))
Also, now that the holidays are over, and most of us are going back to school next, I had a fun idea. On a scale of 1 - 10, how many :(( or happy emojis would you use to describe how sad, or happy, you are about going back to school? Also, list one reason why you’ll miss winter break and one reason you won’t miss it.
For example:
9 Happy Emojis! Because I missed my friends and haven’t done anything productive this entire break lol.
:((
1 Sad Emoji. I’ll miss being able to sleep in!
Also, I go back on Monday :((
:(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :((
Ten, because midterms start ten days after break ends. After that, second semester starts, which means goodbye to Study Hall, Gov, and Health, and hello to Gym, AP Gov, and Intro to Psych.
Two, because I am looking forward to seeing my PSAT scores, and I actually share classes with my friends next semester. And even though I listed it as a negative above, I am a little excited for Intro to Psych, because it seems interesting.
I go back on Monday too, which means I have the weekend to do my homework… :c
Lol @LeopardFire I have Health and PE at my school where you have 3 weeks of PE and then 3 weeks of Health. That repeats through the year. I’m also planning on doing all of my homework Saturday and Sunday. Knowing me, I’ll probably do it Sunday night. Also, I forgot that PSAT scores come out soon, and I’m honestly not looking forward to seeing them. I was so unprepared.
i’ve been staying up until like 3 this entire break
Hey fellow members of '18! I’ve been a lurker on this thread but I haven’t posted very much.
7 happy
I had a good start to second semester and I want to keep it up!
I’ve actually gotten kind of bored over break…haha, so I’m excited to go back…is that a good thing?
3 sad
I have some last minute work to do that I’m not looking forward to finishing.
The PSAT feels so long ago I barely remember how I felt about the test after. I’m probably in for a surprise on the 7th.
@ak2018 lol funny idea.
:(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :((
Because, I don’t want to see my PSAT scores, I will miss sleeping in, and because I’ll miss eating pancakes every morning lol!
Because, I get to see my friends, get smart lol, find my grades for the tests/projects we did before break, and get to play basketball!
Well, I guess I’ll be seeing you guys every Sunday night once school starts, doing our homework last minute lol.
@ak2018 Lucky ;-; I have to run the mile this year and my stamina is horrible. I didn’t study for the PSAT either, but I want to know how I did so I have an idea how my SAT scores will be. I already know I failed the math section, since I literally didn’t know how to complete around half the problems, but I’m kinda hopeful I did well on the reading/writing one.
@BucketsUCSC My sleep schedule is all screwy. I’ve stayed up until 4 AM and woken up at 4 PM multiple times. I usually fall asleep at around 10-12 during school nights, so its not going to be fun adjusting.
@WishStar12 Welcome “again”! I agree, I can’t remember either. I was probably cocky lol. Well, good luck to you,
@apple1893 College Confidential, the ultimate procrastination website of students since 2001.
@BucketsUCSC Same and it is really going to suck Sunday night.
:(( :(( :(( 3 sad because I can’t stay up all night anymore and get away with it and I have two projects due/midterms a week or so after break.
3 because I really need to get back on a routine, which I never have one during break. I mean I haven’t been on a solid set schedule since last year…
Yup lol @apple1893 ! I’m usually on here every day! There’s always the “Do Tomorrow, Due Tomorrow” philosophy that @tonyk16 “The Comedian” always talks about lol That’ll be me this Sunday though!
@WishStar12 Hi! Sometimes I wonder how many people lurk on here and are just shy too anything or don’t feel making an account. And I guess it is a good thing to want to come back lol. I honestly miss the whole routine. Like I feel that once summer starts, I’m going to love it. But after a few days, I’ll hate it and I’ll want to back to school. I feel that way every summer.
@LeopardFire I feel like I honestly do horribly on both. That was probably because I wasn’t sure about the guessing penalty on the new PSAT. I’m still not sure, but I’ll figure it out later. I’ve also have a bad habit of sleeping at a late time and waking up in the middle of the afternoon. It happens a lot, in fact it happened today. I went to bed at 7am and woke up at 2pm. Then I went back to sleep and woke up at 5pm. My parents really hate when I do that.
@tonyk16 It really has been!
:(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :((
7 sad emojis because I haven’t gotten anything done over the break and I feel like it just went by toooooo fast. I don’t have any friends to return to either and I need to study for finalsssss. guhhhhhhhhh
3 happy emojis because I’m more productive during school days.
@raffie I agree, it went by really quick for me too. And I’m also a lot more productive during school days/nights, like Sunday nights into Monday mornings are when I am at the peak of my game, I get top quality homework done during that time.
@ak2018 I say…
:(( :(( :((
3 sad faces because I have to go back to doing work and some of the classes I don’t like. I don’t want to see my PSAT scores either
5 happy faces because I get to see my friends, be productive, and finally get into a normal schedule again.
Honestly the PSAT was not that bad. I was preparing for the old SAT for a long time, and then took the practice PSAT issued to us. It was different, but you use many of the same old SAT skills. I might be considering the new SAT now, even after taking the old SAT, because the new SAT wasn’t really that much harder/different for me.
Our scores come out on January 7th right??
@thetex Yes so this Thursday
