@apple1893 There is usually a request information or “add me to the mailing list” page on the school’s website. That’s what I did to get mail from my reaches. Still can’t find the page for MIT, though…
guys i have a question so i just got an email from Syracuse university, for their college of engineering, but i checked that i’m interested in finance/actuarial science. did this happen to anyone else
@BucketsUCSC I got that email also (like at noon). Schools may sometimes do that. No worries.

@BucketsUCSC Whitman College thinks I’m interested in film/media studies. When I opted-in to their mail, I think I only put down astronomy and music (they know I’m interested in those).

Honesty i would be lowkey upset if i ended up at UGA. I dont really want to go there but it seems like all the top students at my school end up at UGA (i live in GA obviously).
@ak2018 i listened to P!ATD in like 8th grade, the only songs i remember is this is gospel, i write sins not tragedies and miss jackson.
@NYUhopeful is it considered cheating to request info? Because we haven’t really worked for emails, we just put our names down…
@apple1893 It demonstrates interest, which is what is important. Besides, I think what the others were talking about were using information they learn from the emails into their “Why ___” essay for college apps. I don’t think actually asking for emails impacts much.
SO I JUST FOUND OUT THAT WE HAVE NO SCHOOL THURSDAY OR FRIDAY! MEANING WE WON’T GO TO SCHOOL ALL WEEK! WE ARE STILL GOING TO HAVE A TEACHER WORKDAY ON FEBRUARY 1ST! This blizzard literally produced 7 snow days and we are only 4 1/3 more snow days away from reaching the limit of 11 snow days. I guess this is what people get for complaining that is was 70°F on Christmas day and there wasn’t any snow.

Also, my school just sent out a link to schedule our courses for next year since we won’t be going to school until Tuesday. I just finished scheduling my math, Science, History, and English class for next year. The classes I have chosen are:
