@frazzledazzle The thought definitely counts. I honestly like how Valentine’s Day will be on a Sunday this year. Now I won’t have to go through all of the annoying couples! Congrats on the Jazz thing though.
@apple1893 It’s fine. I wish I had some free/very cheap summer programs around me. But this summer I’ll just be doing World History II in summer school and volunteering at my local library on Saturdays. I’m probably just going to skip the Super Bowl like I’ve done since 2012. It’s just not really my thing.

@ak2018 Weird coincidence, I just shaved all my hair down last week. I was tired of it tangling up, so I decided to start all over again. Should probably change my profile pic. :))
@Hamlon Lol! You probably should. Maybe to a Black History Month picture. I’m actually black and male as well. Isn’t black hair just the struggle to maintain? My hair gets nappy almost everyday once I wake up and even though I clean it up, my dad says I should get it cut every two weeks. 
It will just grow back by the end of the month anyway.
I finally finished annotating Frankenstein and I have to say that it was certainly a very great book with so my prophetic issues about society. I give it a 4.7 out of 5.
@ak2018 I just did! Beyonce’s video has been on my mind all day. I changed it twice because the first pic I ended up choosing was a little too…much. 
@ak2018 Wow I couldn’t even read that book XD Pretty much everyone in my class used Sparknotes and other online summary sites. Even for the parts I did read, I had to look up what was happening beforehand because I honestly couldn’t understand the language. And my teacher didn’t even put in the quiz and test grades for that novel because she didn’t grade anything except bellringers until the day grades were due, so the novel actually had no effect on our grades at all

@LosingCrayon We have a test on the book today. You know what’s funny? The only reason why I annotated the book, or even read it for that matter, was because I wanted to prove to my English teacher that I belonged in his class. Annotating the book was optional and, technically, so was the book. If we did it, and did it correctly, he would add 25% to our test scores. My annotations for 1984 were terrible, as I hated the book, and I wanted to prove that I could do more. He likely saw how well I contributed to the in-class debates and that I am a very philosophical thinker and recommendated me for AP English Language and Composition. Also, if he sees that my annotations are good enough, he will ask me if he can keep it for his future students.
Also the next book we are reading for class is The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by Shakespeare. He’ll be reading the book to us in class and I believe we’ll be responsible for getting the annotations done. Same thing with Coraline, which we’ll be reading right after.
