Today, I was declined my dream summer program because of my grade…
What are your strongest and weakest subjects?
Here are mine:
Strongest: Chemistry, Bio, Social Studies (or History whatever)
Decent: Pre-Calc (some parts), French, English
Weakest: PHYSICS !!! And some parts of Pre-Calc.
No, but seriously. I hate physics so much.

Strongest: Algebra 2 (I just really enjoy it, doesn’t mean I have the best grade) and bio (sometimes, but not really liking the class)
Dencent: US History, French, English
Weakest: Photography

Strongest: Pre-cal (I love math!!!), Chemistry (Love chem, but I wish my teacher, you know, tried???)
Decent: Euro (higher/est grade in the class. Don’t like it though…), French
Weakest: Choir (There is no helping my voice become better… 
), English (HATE IT!!!)
Strongest: Geometry/Algebra 2 (I’m a prospective math major!), German
Decent: AP Econ, AP U.S. History, English (I’m a great writer, but I’m average at analyzing texts)
Weakest: Chemistry (I may or may not have contemplated death doing my chem homework tonight. I hate it so much)

JUST WON MY STATE COMPETITION FOR FBLA! Won the Securities and Investments categories in PA. Really didn’t expect this at all, maybe like 4-8

I’m a Math/History person but spanish 3 honors and english 2 are so darn easy at my school
Some upcoming juniors received their confirmation for the IB program.
I didn’t apply for various reasons:
- GPA might drop (last semester's GPA was 3.5 weighted)
- Might not handle it
- Not have a focus on SAT/ACT
- Too risky
- Grades have a bad outcome
I’m only taking 2 AP’s next year.
I mean it’s good college preparation but I guess it’s too late. But the decision is done! Plus colleges view it the same because they realize not a lot of schools offer it and possibly not offer AP.
Strongest: Computer Math, Pre-AP English 10, Spanish I, Algebra II, HPE I
Weakest: Pre-AP Chemistry, Pre-AP World History I
@cxprus In all honesty, the IBDP program is only for some, not for all. This being said, I transferred to a high school without IB. I feel like I made the right decision since a lot of IB kids have trouble with the SAT. It make sense too. The same company that makes AP tests also makes SAT tests. So they’re pretty much somewhat biased towards AP kids.
Strongest: Human Body Systems, Spanish 3, English 10 (blow-off class)
Decent: APUSH, Honors Algebra 2
Worst: AP Bio, my teacher is freaking hard
@cxprus I also decided not to do IB. At my school, you can either be in the STEM Program or the IB Program. In STEM, you take for years of PLTW classes, and in IB you take honors/AP until you do the IB Diploma, so theoretically, I could have switched over to so the diploma. However I wouldn’t be able to also be in the STEM program. I have friends in the STEM program, and NYU views IB and AP as the same. Next year I’ll be taking 4 AP classes.
@apple1893 I was rejected because I am a sophomore. They told me I could apply as a sophomore but ultimately decided not to pick sophomores for the program because the 10th graders could apply again next year. Also, I will pm you about the program.

Decent: Honors PreCal, Acting (high grade in an easy class)
Worst: AP Bio (my only B)

I really hate ap european history
Strongest: pre-calc, chem(all my sciences in general), social studies
I’m still above average at everything else but I can’t stand English.
