@Hamlon That’s great! Congrats!!! <:-P
@Hamlon Congratulations, that is a wonderful achievement!
0 for 2 so far in Summer Programs. Dang, rejections are hard. I’ve never in my life wanted to be by myself and just think where I went wrong, until now. I really hope I’m not as dramatic (I’m rarely ever dramatic) during senior year decisions. Waiting for two more decisions, but things are not looking great. To anyone who gets accepted to their summer programs, I sincerely congratulate you, enjoy the Summer!
.
anyone taking the spanish language ap tomorrow?
@chr1717 Nah, I have APCS tomorrow morning.
Ayyy I had my track meet. I came in first for triple jump and first for 100m and 400m. My relay team came in second but good enough ahahaha.
UGH did anyone else take APES today??? LOL I’m dying
@Hamlon Congrats!
I have APCS and APAH tomorrow. So nervous… :-SS :-SS
I took APES today. I thought it was easy
APES is my thing
I haven’t even considered a summer program… That won’t affect me too terribly if I don’t do one this year right?
And @ak2018 you’re interested in engineering right? I don’t think that’s really VCU’s wheelhouse
@lindsgal I have a friend that took APES and she said she feels dead after it haha… Is there a lot of writing?
@reidd799 I don’t think so. Just make sure to seem involved, if there’s any consistent activities you do (like sports, musical instruments, etc.) and you can find a summer program for next year.
@gormar099 I took AP psych today and it was super easy didn’t expect anything less, but I am guilty of stressing a bit for the exam. I haven’t picked up my book all year, so I was pretty nervous today. when I saw that FRQ though, I almost cried tears of joy.
You guys are talking about AP’s and it sounds like Hell wowowwowow. Props to you for taking all those AP classes!
I’m so scared for AP Euro. I really want a five, not that a four isn’t good.
And I have my last track meet on Wednesday.
My friends were all talking about summer programs, but I had never thought of them so I went online and searched for some at Stanford even though it was too late to apply to most. I applied to CNI-X at Stanford though, a short neuroscience intensive summer program (only like 4 days-a week), and I actually got in! It’s 400 something dollars though so I’m so sure. I want to see if I can get financial aid/one of their scholarships. I tried searching CNI-X on here and google, but besides the original website, I can’t find ANY other information on it.
@apple1893 Thanks! I actually decided to quit the track team due to other commitments involving school work. I decided that next year, I’m going to be doing a lot of clubs. And sorry about the whole summer program thing. Maybe you could try volunteering. I’m volunteering at my local library this summer.
@reidd799 I know VCU isn’t exactly the best at Engineering, but it’ll serve as a backup, incase I don’t get into my two three colleges.
To everyone taking AP tests this week and next week, REMEMBER TO CALM DOWN! You will all be fine as long as you stay calm and know that it won’t be the end of the world. You’re all smart individuals who are all capable of getting good scores. Ut Sileas! JUST STAY CALM!
