During my Chemistry class yesterday, there were some people who had to go take the AP Euro test. My Chem teacher told them to go to the third lunch shift, at 11:15am. When they walked out of class, they looked like they were doing the walk of shame.
Congratulations to everyone who took an AP test this week. One down, one to go!
I had no clue about the long essay for the AP Euro exam, but I think I did okay on the rest. My predicted scores so far:
Psych: 4
APUSH: 5 (it was sooooo easy)
Euro: 3-4 (bc of last essay
Bio on monday then I’m done!
Also I just ordered my study guides for my SAT2s in June
@nyuhopeful44 nice! which subject tests are you taking?
Me a week ago: If I get a 4 on the APUSH exam, I’ll be so happy. I’m not even thinking about a 5.
Me today, actually probably getting a 4: [-O< [-O< [-O< GIVE ME A 5 [-O< [-O< [-O<

What do SAT Subject test do for you? Does it give you college credits like AP Exams?
no but most top colleges require 2 and georgetown requires 3 @MKSherry
@MKSherry it shows mastery of a certain subject, specifically one you want to major in
how much are SAT II subject tests? I want to take biology, chemistry, and physics subject tests in the summer of 2017, but if they’re like $80 then I’m screwed :S
@ihavenoideawow I guess you could say you no idea how much SAT subject tests! Wow! :)) Lol, I kid. The registration fee is $26 to take all of your tests on one day. It’s $18 per test. Algebra-wise, the total amount of money you’d spend is equal to $18 times (x), the number of tests you want to take in one day, plus $26 for the registration fee.
@ak2018 well I have an idea now lol
do the tests all have to be on the same day? since I want to take 3 tests, could I take one on a day different from the others, perhaps earlier on?
also, is it a one time registration fee, or just $26 as a one time thing?
If you want the registration fee to be $26, they all must take place on the same day. If you want to register for another day, you must pay another $26. Most people usually take all of their SAT Subject Tests all in one day, to avoid this. You can take up to three tests in one day. You’ll still need to pay $18 per test if you decide to do it another day. There is a late registration, which is only $28. I’d recommend just doing all of your tests in one day so that The College Board, this so called “non-profit organization”, doesn’t take all of your parent’s money. If you decide to change the date of when you want to take the test, it’s $28. If you decide you don’t want to take a test at all, you’re refunded $10. It honestly sounds like such a skeezy deal to me. If you want more info, check out this link: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat-subject-tests/register/fees-payments
So if you took all of your tests on one day, which I know doesn’t seem like a good idea, you’d pay $74! Don’t you just love The College Board? :-L
@ihavenoideawow I’ll also be planning on taking two SAT Subject Tests sometime before the end of the year next year. I’ll also be taking both the SAT and ACT during June of 2017.
I’ll be taking both the Chemistry and Math Level II.
I’m planning on taking my Subject test sometimes within may or june next year too. I’m thinking about taking Molecular biology or/and Physics and Math Level I. My sister who is a junior just took her Math level I test today and she said it was easy if your good at algebra. Which is great because I love algebra, and I’ll know Algebra II by that time. I just don’t understand the difference between . I’ve been so busy thinking about AP bio prep and PSAT prep I forgot about the Subject test.
Can you pick which scores to send to colleges with the SAT subject test?
Things I need to do in the three weeks before school ends:
Study for AP Econ and take my AP Econ exams
Write 5 essays
Take 15 tests, including finals
Catch up on APUSH readings and short answers
Submit corrections and work for extra credit
Create my 10 year plan for my required career orientation class
Do my daily homework
You wanna know what I did today? Nothing. Literally nothing. Not a thing. I’m sooooooo going to regret my entire existence pretty soon. :((
Anyone else here gonna take the AP stat test this week?
@Abbiegalie Yes, you can.
@neptuna I feel the same way! I feel like Plankton from SpongeBob is laughing manically while kicking my life into maximum overdrive!
