@Hamlon I think they just had extra books left over from the first giveaway. They sent it through media mail so you should get yours in like a week. The first batch took forever because they had some problems with their warehouse.

Have any of you tried the Ivy Global’s SAT prep book? I’m shooting for the October SAT and I’m doing pretty good in all areas except for math (which is ironic because normally I have no problems with math–ever X_X). I see that its $30 but is it worth it? I find that I am not getting any better with the math section using khan academy because the way it “teaches” isn’t how I learn math. I could really use some advise/reviews!!! (I’m not sure I trust the 5 stars on amazon)

I start school two weeks from today.
Ok so my video is currently in the process of being uploaded! A couple of things I would like to say:
- I already know I'm ugly, I don't need anyone in the comments section telling me this, OK? :))
- YouTube's video editor is so... I can't even!
- In my future videos, once school starts, I will probably be one-shotting, meaning I will record my videos without cutting and editing, because editing all of these videos takes too damn long! :))
- I know it's not the best video, but I would say it's pretty good for someone's first video.
- Technically, this isn't my first time having a "web-show" kind of thing going on. When I was 10, I used to do my own web show on Kidz Bop, back when they allowed everyone to upload videos.
- I was reading from notepad!
Finally 7. Making these videos will definitely not be a piece of cake! It’s not going to be a huge commitment, since I’ll technically be taking videos during class, but it will be something that will require a bit of time. I’m definitely going to put this as a second priority to my school work, but it will definitely be a fun project!
I had used the song Beat Your Competition, which is void of copyright, in my video. Hope you guys enjoy it. If you have any questions, ask me here or in the comments of the video. @sewin2music @wildguy57 Based on what I heard, the Ivy Global New SAT Prep book is great, but not the best. I believe it was because they rushed to make the book so that they would become the first new SAT prep book on the market. Also, based off what I heard, the questions from the Ivy Global prep books are slightly easier than the actual thing.
I personally think prep is prep, even with Kaplan LOL, but I wouldn’t use this book before using all of my other prep books. Not saying I don’t like it, especially since I don’t have it, but that I’ll probably be using this book as a supplement. I believe it’s more a test guide, meaning there are mainly practice tests, than a prep book, which is actually fine.
@awesomepolyglot Why not make one? If you already have a Gmail account, then you’re pretty much all set! (I think at this point everyone knows that Google kind of owns YouTube.)
It sucks that your school blocks YouTube. My school only puts YouTube in Restricted Mode because a lot of teachers at my school use it as an educational resource. They used to block YouTube throughout my county, but as YouTube became more useful to the classroom, they couldn’t resist not using it.

So here are the TENTATIVE plans for my channel this week:
- I will be uploading another video by tomorrow night. This video will feature pictures of my Robotics team. Yes, we are finally getting into the Engineering stuff. The video will also feature a tour of my school's Engineering/Manufacturing Construction room. This room is mainly used by anyone on the FRC teams, while the actual Engineering classroom is used for VEX teams. They're literally right across the hall from each other so it's pretty easy to navigate. The Engineering/Manufacturing Construction room is also apparently where my Principles of Engineering class will MIGHT take place.
Anyways, in the video, you’ll see some of my FRC members. The tour is led by David, meaning the guy who is talking about stuff as I move the camera, who is a good friend of mine. So yeah, that’s going to be a majority of the next video.
- I'm also **planning** to do a college tour video as I will be touring GMU on Friday and Virginia Tech on Monday! I might make this a separate playlist on my channel. What I was planning to do was take a lot of pictures and videos of both campuses while I was there.
- I won't likely be doing any Engineering class projects until likely mid to late September, so it might take a little while until those days. Bear with me!
- At this point, I'm planning on having four playlists:
- FRC Videos
- College Tours Videos
- Engineering Explorations 1/Robotics Class Projects Videos
- PLTW Principles of Engineering Class Projects Videos
