@Soccer1235 I have a Lucid Dream at least once a month. My last dream took place with me literally being in The Hunger Games.
So today’s been pretty great. I got an 80 on my oral in Spanish 2, which is pretty OK. I had two quizzes in Engineering Explorations Robotics (one on the history of engineering and another on multi-view sketching). I felt I did pretty well on both. I know I got a 100% on the first one. 
Then. in POE, we finished up our first design projects. We all made levers. I’ll take a picture of mine on Tuesday. I’m currently at lunch and am about to go to AP Chem.
I’m also really excited to go to MY FIRST high school football game TONIGHT!!! It’s an away game, however the school is closer to my house, so I don’t have to go that far.
A little background of my school’s football, they’re REALLY BAD! The scores from their last three games were:
(0 - 45 Loss)
(13 - 42 Loss)
(0 - 48 Loss)
Since the school we’re playing against tonight is the best team in our county, I expect the score to be least: (0 - 60 Loss) Our school’s football players are literally telling everyone not to come to the game because they know they’re about to get their butts whooped! :)) I know this is so bad to say, but I’m actually looking forward to seeing my team lose. :))
So how are your guy’s high school football teams?
@ak2018 Our first timed writing was today. I was nearly able to finish. I wasn’t able to finish my conclusion, so I did a truncated essay conclusion (restating thesis).
@ak2018 My school team is equally as bad, if not more. One game during the pre-season they lost 22-0. The first home game of the regular season they lost 37-0. I have to go to the home games for pep band, and we left after the 3rd quarter since we weren’t going to be playing the school song (we play it when they score a touch down or win the game). I like joking about how bad they are to the freshman flutes, though!
The last game my hs football team played they lost like 42-0.
@ak2018 you’ve never been to a football game before? Our team wins districts every year and made it to states last year
@frazzledazzle I think my school is worse! I’m pretty sure the only sports we’re good at are swim and softball. We were state champions for softball last year! Everyone at my school always joke about the football team is. No one really likes the new coach, who was my Computer Math teacher last year. One day, I told one of my friends, who was on the football team, “At least I know what it’s like to be on a winning team!” :)) I played on a really good football team back in the 8th grade.
@nyuhopeful44 The last time I went to a football game, I was actually apart of the game! Back in middle school, I was on the defensive squad and my position usually changed game after game. I also haven’t been to a football game for about 2 and 1/2 years now. I really need to get out more! :))
@snowfairy137 It’d be pretty entertaining to see which would win, my school or yours.
@Ak2018 to be fair, our 12 best players were suspended for drinking. Not that thats a good thing lol.
We have a really good drill team and debate team and drama department. We win a lot of awards for highest gpas of teams if that counta for anything.
Also, for those in the Northern Virginia area, UVA will be hosting a Fall Fling on October 8th for African-American Students.

My DBQ wasn’t graded! D:< My APUSH teacher printed out, but forgot to read it. Everyone else got their work back… The scores weren’t’ great, so I can’t say really want to find out, but I’m still anxious about it regardless.

On a much more serious note, a sophomore at my school died yesterday. There was an announcement, and students were offered grief counseling. He had lived on the same street as one of my friends, but she didn’t know what happened to him. No one seems to, its really sad. My teacher told my class that he hadn’t started school yet, so I suspect that he cold have been sick.

My school, last year, had a murder-suicide last year as well as a suicide. I really didn’t know either of them well.

@LeopardFire From the way you wrote it it sounds like you didn’t know much of that kid but it’s still sad either way. Just makes you think about life and enjoying it to the fullest.
On another note, my GC just told me that my PSAT is the one on October 19th. Anyone else taking it then?
I am doing test prep 3 days a week until the test, with two practice tests scheduled during that time, as well! (Thanks, Khan Academy!) Also, my GC is giving me a PSAT prep book when I give him the permission slip and the fee on Monday! I’M EXCITED BUT ALSO REALLY STRESSED
Oh, was that my deep seeded anxiety about college and stuff coming out again? Better hide that away… haha
No but seriously, college admissions is freaking me out already and it’s barely the start of junior year… I’m worried that I’m going to burn out too quickly… ANXIETYYYYYYYYY

@kassh4 Yay! I didn’t know the exact date that I was taking it so I was just studying willy nilly and now I’m studying super seriously and it’s so stressful haha
