@neptuna It’s been dying down where I live as well.
@kassh4 I kind of agree with you there. Junior year has been a lot more fun and less stressful than last year. A lot of my teachers literally overhyped what junior year would be like. So far, I’m doing better in AP Chem than I, or my Honors Chem teacher, ever thought I would. I had a B average last year in AP Chem and right now, I have an 89% and have a high chance of getting an A this quarter.
@ak2018 We’ve had some bad accidents on I-95 in Maine as well. A few years ago during a snow storm where there was a lot of ice there was a massive car pile-up accident that went on for a mile or so. Thankfully no one died (I think).
The AP Chemistry teacher at my school (and the science department head) was, or still is, in a rock band. That band performed at the Bernie Sanders/Hillary Clinton rally I was at yesterday. Sadly the teacher wasn’t there.
Hurricane Irene knocked part of a tree down due to wind that knocked down part of the fence in my back yard and almost hit my house. We have tall pine trees where I live.
My school district doesn’t have school. We also didn’t have school on Friday because of a teacher in-service day.
My school’s administration is having to change the International Day and Holiday Day after complaints from the Civil Rights team. We’re going to be discussing what to do at Student Council on Tuesday. And Homecoming Week is a week away. eek!
I know I don’t have a chance for NMF, so I’m just going to aim for Commended at best.
Junior year’s been great for me except for the fact that AP Language is killing me.
@kassh4 We do at my school. I keep them in a folder.
@CoolCakes I have a classmate who graduated last year and is now at Harvard who is running for President in 2020.
@LeopardFire I’m happy Sandy was off the coast of Maine. That would have been bad. We did get lots of winds and clouds, though. I went to the coast the day before it hit us and it was windy and cold.
We’re doing an outline and breaking down the information for our first DBQ that we started the other day. It looks daunting.
The first math meet of the year on Wednesday went very well! I got 18 points out of a possible 60 (a meet best for me) including a perfect round! I even tied for first place on my team! I’m looking forward to this year!
@frazzledazzle We should exchange quizzes and tests during finals time so we can get more practice problems
@kassh4 We should exchange pics and info from the quizzes! That would be good! I’m only in APUSH (not AP Chem sadly) so I won’t be good use for AP Chem.
@kassh4 @frazzledazzle That’s actually a good idea. Mind if I get in on this action?
I disagree with you guys. Maybe I bit off more than I could chew with four AP classes and a job and ecs, but this hear is literally killing me. On Friday I had only gotten two hours of sleep and it made me so sick that during passing time I ran off into a hallway no one really uses and threw up into a trashcan! And I couldn’t go home because I would’ve missed a test- so instead I bought a powerade and felt like crap all day. And it’s only October.
the clowns were sighted near my town, and everyone has been freaking out about them. I think junior year isn’t that bad. Granted, I hope I will do well in all of my classes
My junior year has been very stressful. I moved to a school in a different state and now I have to face a new social environment along with 6 AP classes, extracurricular activities, and college entrance exams. It sucks, but I hope it’ll all pay off in the future.
Everyone write the AP classes you are in and weather you guys get to keep the quizzes/tests or not. This way we can eventually start a chat or something and get extra problems
AP Bio- No
AP Chem- Yes(we don’t have quizzes only tests)
APUSH- Yes (only quizzes but we have one ever other day or so)
I’m in APUSH but our tests are weird so I doubt they’d be any help. I’m also in AP Lit and the same goes for there, too.
@nyuhopeful44 @thenorthstar I think how stressful, or non-stressful, your junior year is really depends on a couple factors such as the number of AP and regular classes you’re taking, the teachers you get, the homework you receive, your extracurriculars, and even your life outside of school. So far, it’s been pretty okay for me, but I know that this is only the beginning. I’m pretty sure the only reason why I’m not stressed out as much this year because I pretty much stressed myself out last year.
@kassh4 so for our APUSH test we have 30 MC and a SAQ we havent started the DBQ yet but we did have a LEQ which she hasn’t graded yet. I feel like it wasn’t that hard to get a 100 but i think having WHAP helped me understand how to study for APUSH. But for me history is really easy but i hate science I’m not even taking science this year I’m taking APHUG instead which is a breeze and I almost got a D in Chem H last year but i clutched the final to get a C. That’s also the reason why I’m not taking the ACT.
we get columbus day off and we have tuesday off for student free day so 4 day weekend
We have a five day weekend!!!
We don’t get Columbus day off… -_-
I need a lot of APUSH resources because I’m not in the class but I’m still taking the test.
How in the hell do you do this problem:
what is the largest integer n such that 2014! is divisible by 11^n
Please tell me that isn’t an SAT problem! @cliffnotes
