my latin class used it years before it became a meme it’s so wonderful
I have a playlist on my youtube channel of just kahoot remixes because the music is literally fire. i have legitimately listened to that kahoot 10 hours video for 3 hours of it and i’m still not tired of the music. you know how if you play a high school musical song people will suddenly get nostalgic and sing along? yeah that’s me but with kahoot
my Latin class started the trend, and now all the language teachers and english teachers use it i love it so much
Also, just adding onto the Doctor Who conversation,
I was watching some of those short videos that they would do for Children in Need/Red Nose Day and the one with David Tennant and his now-father-in-law/fifth doctor Peter Davison just made me so happy and made my heart melt. Tennant is my absolute favorite, but I can’t say I haven’t loved all the rest (at least from New Who but from what I’ve seen from the others they’ve all been pretty great).
@snowfairy I did. My phone just auto-corrected it lol
@Soccer1235 He was to all of those things, but he looks nothing like Smith, who he tried to dress up as. The only thing they have in common is that they’re both British.
@oPhilippos I literally love the music. Once you hear it, you know you’re about to play Kahoot. We started playing it last year in my Spanish class.
@ak2018 hahaha @oPhilippos I tried watching some William Hartnell and I absolutely could not stand him! He was so annoying, and the camera work was like that of a home video. The others seem good though.
I decided to put up the admissions decisions deadlines (when colleges plan to have their decisions online) to the colleges I plan on applying to:
GMU Early Action: December 15, 2017
MIT Early Action: December 15, 2017
JMU Early Action: Mid-January 2018
UVA Early Action: January 31, 2018
William and Mary RD: April 1, 2018
Virginia Tech RD (Round 1): Late February 2018
Virginia Tech RD (Round 2): Late March 2018
VCU RD (Rolling Admissions): Early February 2018 to April 1, 2018
Also, do you guys have a particular college that if you were admitted, you wouldn’t even consider all of your other options? Like which admissions decision are you waiting on the most?
I feel like that would be MIT for me, but knowing how unlikely that’ll be, it would be VT.
I’ve been watching admissions decisions reaction videos and they make me so happy! I hope I can be that happy when I get my decision.
Late to the PSAT hype but I wanted to check my scores after my finals!
I felt like i would lose my finals mojo if i checked haha.
Finished with 1 B – my first B ever… in AP spanish!
Anyways, I got a 1470 (730 reading, and a 740 math)
My SI is 220.
And California’s cutoff was 221 last year. Do i have a chance at all?
Im just praying the cutoff goes down…
@thejoe A little unfair that in California you have to get such a high score in order to qualify. But don’t worry, California doesn’t have much room to rise anyways. At least you’re guaranteed commended status!!!
Some girl at my school got into Yale (we’ll just say it came as a shock to everyone) and now for some reason I keep checking Yale’s website. I’m pathetic.
LMAO I FEEL. I think I mentioned earlier in the thread that this one girl got into Wharton and everyone was like lmao what so that’s been on my mind a lot lol
I don’t even want to go to Penn (too pre-professional for me) but just thinking that since that person got in, maybe I could too?
A little late, but Calc AB at my school is a pre-req for BC, but it is extremely fast paced and thorough. Over the last ten years though my teacher’s students average a 4.7 on the AP exam
@cliffnotes I watched Empire up into the midddle of the current season, but I just couldn’t hang with the ridiculousness. I really enjoy Blackish tho, and it has to be one of the top 3 shows in TV at the moment.
Currently procrastinating finishing my APUSH homework haha I’m almost finished, though, which is good, but I also have work at 4 so I should probably finish it before I go to work… The struggle of junioritis…
