I had a snow day today and there might not be school tomorrow due to freezing rain. I have a Biology test tomorrow so if school’s canceled on test day then I’ll have an extra precious study day

I’m thinking of applying for a program at my local community college for rising seniors to take a free online 3 credit course over the summer. I would take either Intro to Psych or Intro to Sociology, because those are both usually gen ed requirements for most colleges, and it would be easy to get it out of the way now. However, I’m a little worried about if I get into the Hamilton scholars program and have to miss working on the class for a week during July for the first leadership weekend. Would that be a big problem, or do you guys think it wouldn’t be that big of a deal? Do any of you guys have any experience with things like this?
I take an online class through the local college. Depending on your teacher, they can be very understanding. I think if you decide to take it be upfront during the first week. If they think it will be bad for you to miss work then drop it and no harm done. It’s worth trying.

Guys I’m going to NYC tomorrow and I’m so excited! I’m going with my school’s Spanish club (which I’m not a part of lmao). I love visiting New York. I go at least once a year, usually around Christmas time. Last year my family got lost in the city and we stumbled upon a light show. I can’t wait for tomorrow!
@carmen00 I’m going to NYC next weekend with the cast, crew, and pit of my school’s musical to explore, eat, and then watch one of the previews of Anastasia the Musical, that features an alum from our school (which is why we got tickets for the preview!!!) This will be my first time in NYC, plus my first live, professional musical, so I’m super excited!

I only have 22.5 school days left of the year and I’m super excited!! I’m just ready to be done with all of the stress and tests. Between a job, interning, and AP summer work I’m going to be busy this month.
I live in NY! but not NYC for someone who lives in ny I only visit the city like once a year.
Have my state FBLA competition next weekend and want to win back to back so badly. I’m doing a group presentation this year and one of my teammates is a little shaky still, we’ll see how this goes.

@ak2018 I checked that Carnegie Mellon directory link that you sent my way. I typed my name in (I applied to SAMS) and it showed up. 
Its a unique last name, so I know that there is no way that it is someone else. I haven’t received an email from Carnegie Mellon yet though, so I am a bit confused.
