I always seem to get Defender ISFJ-A
I am an INTJ, too! lol, I took the test through naviance last fall…
I got ENFP-T
I got ENFP as well.
@ak2018 @julia35002 My sister’s an ENFP!
I took the test twice: once freshman year as part of our guidance course and again sophomore year when my sister took it. I got INTJ-T both times.
For enneagram I’m 5w4, so my main type is type 5 (the thinker) and my secondary type is type 4 (the artist).
The application process for NHS begins next week! The juniors who want to be considered for NHS have to go to a meeting either before or after school next Tuesday. After that we do the formal application process, I think.
Good luck to all applying for NHS! I was luckily inducted at the end of my sophomore year!
ENFJ-A, Protagonist. I always get this one lol.
I got an email that said I’ll get a spot in the summer residency for the Washington Aerospace Scholars program I’m doing assuming I finish the final 2 lessons! Yay!
NHS at my school is basically a joke…I think around 70% of students have 90 or above averages even after a brutal junior year, so the majority make the grade cut. You fill out an EC form and a short essay, but mine was copied and pasted with some minor edits from an old essay for some other program…spent about 10 minutes. We don’t do much either. Tutoring and a small fundraiser each year. Wish I didn’t waste my $15 on joining! But congrats to all of y’all who have more active chapters
Just took the Myers Briggs…I’m an ENTJ-T (Commander). The background description is so accurate :)) except for the super confident part ah that’s not me!
I am an INFP-T person. Love that personality quiz because it perfectly describes me to the t.
I’ve been so stressed out for the past two months because I’m planning the annual fashion show at my school and it’s coming up in less than a month. I’m doing most of the planning and work but it’s such a nice change to actually have people help me more compared to last year’s show.
School has also been so hectic and filled with drama as it is campaign season. There’s one new kid running for class president against our current class president and my class is basically divided on hating or loving the kid. But there’s been rumors that administration/teachers are showing more favoritism towards our current class president and making sure she wins over the new guy as much as possible. Also people are upset that one gay boy at my school tweeted that he was called a the f slur by the guy that’s running and we shouldn’t vote for him because of it. His supporters are upset that the tweet is why the new guy lost to our current class president today. I mean administration is upset, the guy that loss and his supporters are upset, everything is just a mess.
In other news I’m taking the ACT tomorrow and I’m super nervous about it. My projected grade was a 26 on my first full practice test. I’m just using tomorrow’s test as a guide to help familiarize myself with the timing and structure. I will then actually study more to take the exam again in June.
Has anyone or is anyone currently taking AP Chem or know someone who is? My chemistry honors teacher is really pushing me to take the class, but I’m not sure how rigorous it is.
@Iridescentgaze IMO it really is not as rigorous as some of the other AP Classes. It is very doable.
@LushLillies Do you go to a private school/prep school/similar? I’d be surprised if 5% of students at my school had above a 90 or above average lol
I can’t imagine having a near-perfect average, and then being beat by 20 other people with perfect or above-perfect (100+/100) averages :))
Update:
Sorry to bore you guys with it, but I have less than 9 hours before the exam. The big boys are asleep. Me? I’m just here. Fingers crossed. So nervous I can’t sleep.
Good luck to everyone taking the ACT tomorrow!
Getting ready to take the ACT for the first time! this is my second big test this week cuz i took the SAT in school wednesday
So yesterday I visited Syracuse. After some research, it was my #1 school, so I had to visit.
I didn’t get that gut feeling I had when I visited USC. But I was also more focused on the weather and getting inside than getting a feel for the campus. I visited Newhouse, and I could just see myself there. Newhouse felt like a place where I could see myself grow over the next four years. We spoke to some people from the honors college, which really sold it for me. Also, my friend and I couldn’t really figure out how to get to this one building, and a few different students asked us if we needed help when we looked lost, so the students seemed pretty nice.
My friend absolutely loved Syracuse, but it took me a little until I could see myself there. It might’ve just been the fact that it was raining, snowing, and sleeting all day. The second I walked onto USC, I knew I wanted to go there, but that also could’ve been from the fact it was my first college tour.
Also, one of the students in Newhouse is from the next town over! It’s weird that he lives so close to me. We also separated into groups for the tour. Out of the two other students with me, one also lives super close. I usually don’t find anyone who lives near me, so that was pretty weird.
Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to talk about my visit to Syracuse!
Off topic, but… HAS ANYONE SEEN 13 REASONS WHY YET?! I’m on episode 3 and it’s pretty good and fairly similar to the books. What episode are you guys on, or did you finish it? (NO SPOILERS!)
@ak2018 im watching it right now! I think im on episode 8 oe something, such a good show! I find myself tearing up at times and im not a crier at all.
