This girl at my school got into Stanford, and it’s kinda frustrating because she so rude to everyone, and she asks like she’s above everything. I guess her acceptance validated that because she’s gotten even worse… She’s starting to voice weird opinions on issues like what she says is 100% facts an I’m just like… please, stop.

@MangoLover11223 I’m the only one from my school who applied to Stanford, but a lot of students in the top 30 (including myself) applied to Ivies and so far they’ve been eyeing my acceptances/rejections so they can call “affirmative action” or just rub the rejection in my face lol
It’s so frustrating that the admissions process is an unhealthy competition in schools
I finished making my sign for the walkout! It says “I have seen the headline ‘Deadliest Mass Shooting in US History’ 3 times. I am 18 years old. #enough” Except before the 3 there’s also a 1 and 2, both crossed out in red. On the back I have lots of facts about gun deaths and NRA money in case anyone gets yelly with me. Sad fact: since the day I was born, there have been 69 mass shootings (4+ victims, single attack, public place) in the United States.

Does anyone know when Bates releases decisions? I’m thinking decisions from Colby, Kenyon, and Bowdoin will be out on Friday
I find out about my number one choice on Friday and I could not be more anxious. I submitted my application late Sept for EA and then got deferred. Instead of uploading my grades for the first semester in my update section since they weren’t final, I wrote this paragraph about how it is my number one and why, which was probably better written than my two essays. I’m just below the threshold of the averages, like 25% for amount of AP (but I did as many as I could), just below 50% for ACT (29 but they only look at Math and Reading which I got a 30 on both which in their average), and about 75% for their GPA. Although I have other schools that I’m waiting to hear back from and some that I have already been accepted to, I am still so anxious. If I don’t get into this school I have no idea where I’ll be attending in the fall. I don’t know how I am going to make it through this week.
I got rejected from Penn State’s honors college. I don’t care that much about the honors college, but it’s making me anxious for my other decisions.
I’m waiting on Syracuse which might come out on Friday. BU comes out Saturday. USC scholarship decisions will come out within the next two weeks, and I’m so nervous. It’ll mean whether I go to my dream school or not.
I have MIT tomorrow and Colby on Friday. I’m confident about Colby, but I’m kinda worried about MIT. I have a good feeling about it for some reason, but I’m still very nervous. I hope things go well and it’s my absolute dream school. Ugh. The next day is going to go by super slow and will be very stressful.
I’m so excited for the walkout. Seriously. I’m ready. #enough

@sciencenerd123 Thank you so much! I have 2 friends from SSP and 1 from school who were deferred as well. I really hope that me and my friends from SSP get in. We have been dreaming of going to MIT together for months!
