Found out I was rejected to a hospital program because i lived “too far away from the site”, even though its 15 minutes away… so i last minute applied to an internship that i am praying i’ll get so i’ll have something to put on my application. But good news is i got to state science fair with my partner, and ISWEEEP! staying up all night for days preparing did work out eventually!
Here is my junior yr schedule if anyone is interested.

We’re still trying to work out the last class, it will be dependent on the master schedule
Oh wow to the person who says their school is small, mine is 320 people from grades 8-12 haha.
So I was talking to my counselor and I mentioned that I wanted to major in Art history and Philosophy, and that I really don’t like math at my school, and she advised me to think about taking Stats next year instead of Pre-calc and then taking Formal Logic 1 & 2 at our local University, which wasn’t something I had thought about, but I really hope that works out, I hate my current math class and I really don’t want to do stuff like it for a whole year more :).
Wow, you guys have so much more interesting classes and APs at your school compared to mine… small town struggles
I also wish we didn’t have so many required courses like gym. If you play a sport, you shouldn’t have to take gym- it’s stupid. I also just don’t have the time to take all the classes I want before high school ends, and it sucks.
I have a snow day tomorrow so I am spending time getting ahead in school, and, of course… on this site obsessing over college :). I was wondering if you guys wanted to share what you think you want to major in, and some schools that are currently your tops.
For me, I want to major in theatre, and current schools on my radar are Brown, Wesleyan, Tufts, Northwestern, and Vassar. I know, I really need safeties!
At the moment I’m leaning towards economics, political science, or maybe journalism. And then maybe law school, idk. Currently, I’m looking into going to NYU, UCLA, Brown, Columbia, or Dartmouth… all reaches for me though. Tufts or Georgetown would be cool too.
I used to think I wanted to major in biology but I’m currently all over the place. I really like Duke and Stanford but obviously those are super reaches.
Right now I’m looking at math, with maybe a double major (or minor) in computer science! My top choices are Princeton and Harvard but those are super high reaches lol. Wellesley or NYU would be really great too
I’m also interested in math, but also possibly computer-related stuff (cybersecurity sounds really interesting) and maybe engineering. I’m hoping to go to (maybe) UCLA. Caltech and MIT would be great, but I have no chance of getting in lol.
My ideal is a circus arts BA (don’t laugh, it’s just like a dance degree), specialization in trapeze. Ideally the Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal, but really anywhere reasonably good with either a BA or equivalent. If that doesn’t really work out, then a liberal arts school with a major in art history would be my goal.
