@Microsoft_Ninja I’m happy with all my grades first quarter except for my English grade. I ended the quarter with a 92.4%, which is 0.1% from an A. It makes me more sad too because she promised to include a grade into first quarter, which would raise our grade, but she forgot to and put it in second quarter… how is it for you?
@Mahindra I wish I could help you with answering that, but the best program I can think of only seems to be Governor’s School.
Mine is Wednesday through the following Tuesday.
I’m pretty satisfied with my grades (one A and the rest A+'s)
The best way of studying for me is just spacing out studying over a course of a week. If I remain calm and think during a test I can do really well it’s when I start to panic I make dumb mistakes.
@collegeready33 I don’t know about @Foreboding 's school, but at mine an A+ is 97 and up and just counts towards class rank as a tie breaker (which usually only matters in freshman year because freshman can’t take APs and we don’t have honors weighted credit so all top freshman have a 4.0 GPA and the A+s are a tiebreaker
For me, I get a two hour early release on Wednesday, and days off for Thursday and Friday! I’m pretty excited! How about you? Are any of you hanging out with friends and family for Thanksgiving? Is anyone going Black Friday or Cyber Monday shopping?
This Thanksgiving, I’m going to be studying for multiple tests! Yay! I have a chemistry test and an AP Cal Midterm the Wednesday we get back and I also have to do my expert project for AP Comp Sci, since I didn’t do it in the time that was provided in class lol (I don’t work well at school, especially on writing and research assignments, so I decided to just save it for the break). I also have to write 2 tests for my Science Olympiad kids that I coach as well as one for elementary Science Olympiad. But, I’m still looking forward to the break, since all of that won’t take me the entire break. I’ll just do it all on Saturday and Sunday! Procrastination!
Just kidding, I’m going to space it all out over our 5 days of break so I’m not overwhelmed on any one day. After I finish studying for tomorrow’s AP Cal test, I’ll make a study schedule for the break. Hooray! Wish me luck on my journey of not procrastinating!
In other news, I can’t find my graphing calculator, so I’m just hoping that I left it in my AP Cal teacher’s room. The good thing is that for tests, if we forget to charge our calcs or forget to bring them, he’ll let us borrow one of his.
How has everyone else’s weekend been?
Hopefully not as crappy as mine, I woke up with a splitting headache and went back to sleep for 4 hours.
