Hey guys! Graduating senior here. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my hs career (especially about choosing colleges…), but one thing I think I did really great was my course selection. I’ve taken the tests for AP World, Stats, Macroeconomics, Calc AB, Physics 1, Lang (w/o the class), and APUSH, and have gotten 5’s on all but the starred ones. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have- I would love to share my experiences about classes, the tests, or anything at all!
(P.S: tbh, I peaked my sophomore year. It only got worse from here- for me at least 8-|)
@memeqween101 How fast the beginning of senior year went. Also, I wish I started working on my essays earlier.
But my advice is to not dwell on the past. Simply take a good hard look at it to see what you screwed up on and just look towards the future and what you still need to do because the past cannot be changed.
@HS student I’m doing alright, thanks for asking. I feel very upset and tired often nowadays, but I think it’ll pass. I enter phases like these often, but they go away if I ignore them as long as possible. I’m glad to hear you are satisfied with your grades! What is your most difficult class?
@memeqween101 It’s out of my hands now! Just waiting for results. But in all honesty, it was hell– I had to get a therapist. But I’m a pretty rare case! It’s definitely not a cake walk, but most people had an easier time than I did. It just depends where you apply and how many places you apply to.
@anthonytheboy Human Body Systems is by far my most difficult class. It’s a PLTW class on the biomed track, and it’s entirely unweighted, so unfortunately, to students who aren’t taking they class, they don’t realize how difficult it is. I’m in 3 honors and an AP class, and HBS is still my hardest class. I’ve never been in a class before where I was so concerned about missing just one point.
My parents want me to go on a college visit over Spring Break, but I’m honestly terrified to so I think I’ll just stick to creating a potential list of colleges for now, haha.
