Thank you for the comments about the Key Club and Model UN, unfortunately my school closed the zkey Club a few year back, and I’m not so sure about the Model UN. My first quarter grades close on Monday, I’m pretty satisfied with my grades but my geometry grade could be better.

How much will my low af gpa for first semester affect my chances of getting into like uiuc engineering? In other words, will this bad first semester of high school rekt my everything

@floridagators100 You’ll be more than OK!!! It’s just your first semester so you have more than enough time to reach your desired grades. So no your everything is not rekt. 
How do you guys feel your first semester of highschool went??
For me the transition was a bit bumpy but as of now I LOVE highschool a lot more than middle school!!

Ya I feels, it was harder for me to get the same grades that I got in ms in hs.
This semester I took 7 classes. Some being semester only classes.
My schedule:
English 9 Honors

Spanish 2 for Spanish Speakers

This is my first year in highschool and I found it easy, so far. I got straight A’s, and im pretty happy about it, considering that my Biology teacher is one of the hardest teachers on campus as many of her former students from her Honors and AP Bio classes say. Apparently it was extremely difficult to maintain an A in that class, for only 3 student had an A through out the semester, I was one of the three. She gave the class extra credit for homework turned in the next day it was assigned, and even with that, many still couldn’t maintain an A. She also gave extra credit for our binder, only if it had the following: Syllabus, Saftey Agreement, Rule Sheet, Weekly logs(13 of them), and our note book(with the 9 chapters that we have so far covered). That really help many students, it boosted many from a mid-B to low-A, and for me, a low-A(90.3%, yeah I was really skimming the plate.) to mid-A( 95.7%, to be exact). The rest of my classes weren’t that difficult. I got a 97.6% in English, 95.7% in Biology, around a 94-95% in P.E, a 99% in Spanish ( our teacher went off a point system, I got 2477 out of 2500, because I chose not to do the final.), 94-96% in Health, 95.8% in Math 2, and 100% in Marching Band.
I would say the first semester of highschool went pretty well for me.

I’m on break at the moment but midterms occur the end of Jan. into Feb., so I’m studying up.

Bro I went from a 91 to an 89 due to a BS math final quite TRIGGEREDDDDD
